Finally got around to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel after seeing all the awards it won. Season 1 was really enjoyable. On to season 2.
 
The New Pope continues to be awesome.

Highly recommended for Catholics and fans of powerhouse acting.
 
Just finished The Stranger on Netflix.

It was pretty intense and kept my interest throughout, but the final episode and the way they wrapped it up felt a little bizarre to me.

Picard is 1080p Dolby Vision or HDR 10 if your set doesn't support DV. To get HDR you have to watch it on an apple tv though and subscribe to cbs all access through appletv+ which is apples streaming service.

Disney + has a category called 20 essential episodes of clone wars. Can anybody confirm if those are good enough to catch you up?
 
started watching the Morning Show, show is great and not at all what I expected (even though I don't know what I expected).

I can't speak for that list but this is what I've been following to get caught up myself and it basically just covers the main arcs for Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka.

Anyone watching the new season of Narcos: Mexico? That show has never dipped in quality from its first season, IMO.

I liked it a lot. I think the quality of the DEA characters was a bit lower than in previous seasons, as they didn't really have anyone on par with the characters played by Pedro Pascal or Michael Pena. Walt grew on me toward the end of season two, but overall I don't think he was as good as the other two I mentioned or even Murphy from the other Narcos series. They've generally struggled to make the DEA characters anywhere near as interesting as the narcos, but I think it was more pronounced than usual in the new season.

Still an easy binge, though, just like the other four seasons. And it made me want to rewatch the original Narcos.

Just took a look at the cast for the new version of The Stand. It'll be interesting to see some of these characters play themselves out. I don't think that the episodes list is correct with some characters that are in the story a ton only having 1 episode next to their name. Also no Trashcan Man.

Watching the original mini-series now. I remember it was mostly bad, so we'll see how it holds up.

The opening scene when Campion leaves. They show all the dead people in the facility. There are people dead in line at the cafeteria and a dead guy in the middle of a ping-pong game. They represent it as an instant death, but then they have Campion drive away and more slowly die along with everyone else that catches it. Dumb.

It is a good list, but it focuses way too much on Maul.

He isn't a major character in Clone Wars until the last seasons, even if he is cool.

I mean, Clone Wars is such a good series that you can't go wrong really.
 
Altered Carbon S2.... Clearly some PC involved in characters adaptation at the expense of quality. I don’t have problems with which group is “represented” as long as the story doesn’t suffer, but it usually does and so does in this one.
The new cast lost a lot of darkness and maturity just so it fits more into PG/PC rules.
