New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Some people enjoy being uncomfortable and having their preconceived notions challenged--being exposed to new and different shit is fun and exciting to them. Others don't.

If this part is in reference to Euphoria, I agree. I actually think once you dig into euphoria or if you watch Skins, they tend to tackle issues that isn't the cookie cutter topics of teen dramas. While some are hyper glorified versions of a topics, they might actually be more realistic than the topics of old that teen actually have to deal with today.

Just the way they handled Jules's character in the first two episodes had me hooked.

Skins is one of my favorite shows all time so I was hooked the moment I watched Euphoria. Skins on the other hand starts out with the most fun episode to hook people then starts diving into the heavy stuff as it goes on.

Westworld may be the most unnecessarily convoluted show in history.

I saw this last episode getting a lot of praise as being one of the best episodes of the series, but just came across as more convoluted garbage.

Westworld seems to be following the Lost strategy where they assume if they ask enough questions we won’t notice they don’t have any answers.

I thought they had finished it. Was surprised it came back

Surprised Westworld is even still a thing, to be honest. That show went off the rails years ago.

Haven't been able to get into this season of The Boys. I'm starting to just get bored with the anti-hero and graphic shock value setup without any new layers. Read yesterday that the viewership plummeted this season. I see why... not much new.

I did the same, but made the mistake of choosing Maya Rudolph's, "Loot." Sheesh. Lasted an episode and a half and that was it for me. Absolute, unrelatable garbage of the highest order.

It's written for a female demographic. I've known people working on it for over a year.

I think part of the reason for viewership going down was that a certain subset of the viewers finally realized the show was making fun of them. :chuckle:

I thought it was the best season of the show.

I agree. The characters amd plot were getting stale by the end of season 2. Season 3 was awesome and entertaining.

Homelander is the best villain since... I don't know. I like him better than Joffrey. And the rest of the casting is great too. Ashley is so fucking awful--the actor does a great job. Soldier boy is great. Just felt like the most enjoyable season, and the chatter online feels like more people are talking about it than ever.

Adding in the Temp V was a great touch because it allowed Butcher and Huey to actually be involved in some fight scenes rather than just standing around watching, and the fact that using it had meaningful consequences was nice too.

I found myself just kind of bored after two episodes. I'm sure it picks up. I did the same thing with season two of Righteous Gemstones - got bored, took a break to watch some shows I just really like more, came back and enjoyed the last half of the season quite a bit.

it should have been a miniseries. Season one was fantastic. As much as I loved that, it took me forever to get around to watching season 2 because I didn't see any way it could be as good as season 1. I haven't bothered with seasons 3 or 4.

I've gained optimism with each trailer that has dropped since the Super Bowl disaster. This one particularly seems good.
