New TV Series to watch

The Madison is nothing like I thought it would be but exactly a Taylor Sheridan show. It's got it's weird writing that Taylor Sheridan does but overall it's well done. It's definitely not Yellowstone but it's also not like any of his other show. I might just be missing what he took inspiration from.

The second 3 episodes of the Madison were alot weaker than the first 3. #4 was still good but 5&6 were real odd. It almost felt directionless in 5&6.

Like I thought I knew what direction this show was going then 5 and 6 made me question everything. Now I have to wait to see what Sheridan decides for season 2.
 
Marianne on Netflix is great - we're half way through it. Older series (2019). My wife saw Steven King recommended it.
 
A co-worker suggested Mindhunter so I got into it. It started pretty slow with lots of character development and interpersonal dynamics of this era of the FBI and criminal psychology. I'm finding out I enjoy historical narratives that take me back to the 60's, 70's and 80's where I can recall and relive those eras of my youth, and events that had faded in memory. As it gets into season 2 it got more interesting to me, and I'm around halfway through that season. The more episodes I watch, the more interesting it gets. I would suggest it to people interested in those decades, it reminds me of Mad Men but centered on the FBI and criminology. It seems to be quite historically accurate as far as I can tell, or recall.

Great show. Sucks that they stopped after only 2 seasons.

Mindhunter and Mad Men are some of my favorite shows

Mad Men may be the best television series that I have ever seen. It's incredible start to finish.
 
Watching the second season of Daredevil Born Again is a constant battle between looking at Fisk and saying, “This guy is so clearly evil, no one would vote for him” and then looking at America and thinking, “Oh, fuck.”

I hate everything about this season sans episode 1 & 2.

Penultimate episode and you got a dog and cat supe sniffing each others' asses like wtf bro are you doing?
