New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Latest episode S2E9 was great, if you are caught up that far.

I finished watching season 2 of Yellowstone. I agree that episode S2E9 was good. I thought 7-10 were good.

The problem I had with this season is that it was too focus on the family and the ranch. All the things I praised it for in the first season just seem to disappear. It didn't feel as expansive or exploring the world they were in. There wasn't much in the town, reservation, casino, or even outdoors beyond the main house/barns of the ranch.

My guess is Paramount pulled back the budget for season 2 and they had to scale back the locations.

Been watching "Occupied" on Netflix. It's a Norwegian show about a "velvet glove" Russian takeover of Norway to gain control of Norway's oil and gas, which the newly-elected Green Party PM had shut off because of climate concerns.

Really enjoying it. There are a few implausibilities along the way, but it's well-acted and very well-plotted with a ton of great twists. There's a really cool usage of a video game -- I think it is Day Z -- that is integral to the plot.

Definitely going to watch. I’ve been looking for a new show.

Watched Amazon’s good omens - first episode almost lost me with all of its strangeness, had heard good things about the show so kept watch. The strangeness grew on me.

Started watching the expanse after seeing people talk about it in the books threat. Binged through season 1 already. Great show.

And started battle star galactica. Miniseries first, now on season 1. Another great show

Haven't seen Good Omens yet but I loved the book.

BSG is one of my favorite shows ever. Edward James Olmos is incredible in it.

The Expanse is great too, although I have yet to watch season three. Read all but the latest book too and they are fantastic.

I started the expanse after reading about it in the book thread. It has been on my list for a while, but never got around to starting it.

Agree with Jack. Awesome books that I was reading before they announced a tv series. They did such a good job with casting all the main characters.

Excited to see how the transition to amazon amps everything up. As well as the ever expanding world.

Just got through the 1st 2 seasons of American Gods and just started The Boys

Watching Amazon's new series Carnival Row right now and enjoying it a great deal. The production values have been really impressive for the most part. Some of the CGI is just okay but overall this show looks awesome. It's kind of like Game of Thrones meets The Witcher (in the sense that the world is one where humans are essentially in charge and the magical races are all second-class citizens living in slums) meets Peaky Blinders meets Sherlock Holmes. This show is fantasy, but like Game of Thrones it is very much hard-R.

I'm on episode six of eight right now. I'd highly recommend giving this one a chance if you like fantasy, The Witcher, or Game of Thrones. I think it has comparisons to all while also doing its own thing and creating a unique world that I am interested in seeing more of.

Only real complaint I have is that I'm pretty sure all the names for this show came from some sort of Pretentious Name Generator. They are hilariously over the top. I know it's supposed to go along with the Victorian, Dishonored style setting, but it just feels like a bit much.

Deleted Netflix tweet says You Season 2 will be December; the rumor has been it has always been that give or take a few months.

I fully admit to watching the first season...

This interests me.

This is actually a good idea. I'm surprised other tv show actors haven't thought of this. It pads their pockets by getting people to rewatch episodes so they should see an uptick in their residuals. They also can make a decent amount off the podcast too.

Jenna Fischer missed pilot season because her show got canceled late so she has some time on her hands. Angela Kinsey probably has time on her hands because she mostly does one time or small recurring roles now.

The new season of Mindhunter is good.

I really dig the criminal aspect of psychology. @The Oi

@Hydroponic3385 have you ever dealt with the behavioral aspect of criminals?
