New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I finished it too. It felt rushed and I was fine with the finale until the last scene. I have no clue what that meant at all.

Same - it was completely unexplained and made no sense on its own. I don't even think the writers knew. It was just grand, and cosmic...and that's it.

I was thinking it was bound to raise eyebrows.

What is it the techno music? The rave seemed out of place.

I read about it and couldn't come up with anyone who gave a good explanation. Usually people have their takes but it seems everyone is just like WTF. It was so odd. The only thing I could come up with is that everyone seems to lose someone they loved and the people coming thru were there to reunite with the ones they loved from across the multiverse. Regardless I would have rather they just left that scene out and never explained the sci-fi angle, which is completely not like me. I always want more of the sci-fi explored and explained in shows.

Jack Ryan kind of reminds me of 24 in that I don't know if it's good, but I can't say it's not entertaining.

Just need Jim Halpert to yell "WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME" for the circle to be complete.

I really liked the first season of Jack Ryan. The second was just too ridiculous on too many levels.

Like I said, it's basically 24 at this point. It's dumb as shit but still fun because of how fucking bonkers it is.

If this season happened in real life, we would 100% be at war with Venezuela.

I think the funniest part of the 2nd season of Jack Ryan is they just wrote out his girlfriend/future wife. They basically don't mention here at all this season.

I assumed they casted her from a tape and from pictures. I remember in season one when they introduced her, I thought she was going to be some torn in Jack Ryan's side, not his love interest.

Yeah I noticed that too. I figured that there must have been some sort of conflict where she couldn't shoot this season.

I think it's pretty clear when you look at her Instagram that the producers basically got catfished into casting her. I think they thought they were getting someone closer to Margot Robbie vs what they actually got and it was too late to recast the role for season 1.

Started the Man in the High Castle last night.

Watchmen is next. Do I need background info to watch Watchmen?

it wouldn’t hurt to read the original graphic novel, as it is the true source material, but the series explains everything you need to follow along. It just may be confusing at first. I recommend reading the graphic novel since it will allow you to thinka lot less while watching it so you can just enjoy the series without thinking too much.

Anyone watched any of the new Apple TV+ series or any of the Disney + series besides Mandalorian?

I watched the first 3 episodes of Servant on Apple TV and it's good so far. I can't watch anymore of that until Christmas with one of my daughters.

Mandalorian is great, of course. I can't watch anymore of that until Christmas with another daughter.

So I'm wondering what to watch next. Watchman, For All Mankind, See, something else?

Also, is Mandalorian the only new drama series on Disney Plus?

Cannot believe so many adults watch Disney Channel.

Then again you guys are all watching super hero movies too.

Once again, all for babies.
Disney+ isn't the Disney Channel, but yeah
