New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shame. Maybe we’ll get it eventually.

Yeah, that would be awesome if they got picked up by someone else. I thought the show did a pretty good job of putting together an ending without resolving one of the show's biggest mysteries, and Duarte's line about fighting gods at least acknowledged the threat of the creatures that killed the aliens that made the protomolecule tech.

Marco was one of the main focuses of the final three seasons, though, so it at least made sense to have him be the main antagonist if you needed to end after six seasons. The real shame is that the cut to six episodes meant they had to cut out two subplots, one featuring Prax and the other featuring Pastor Anna. Prax's story would have obviously centered on him trying to figure out a way to efficiently feed the solar system to save Earth. Not sure what Anna would be doing, as I don't recall if she was in the sixth book or not.

And the books ended in satisfying fashion too, so you can always check them out to get the full ending that resolves the protomolecule story.

The main issue I have with Costner is that he growls all of his lines like Liam Neeson in Taken. He sounds exactly like Neeson and it's distracting.
My dad said the same thing. Doesn't bother me too much as it *is* in his character's DNA to grunt a lot. But yes, it is distracting

Started outlander this week with the lady. Almost through season 1 and liking it so far.
This show has, in my opinion, the hardest to watch scene I've seen in any show.

The prison scene with Jamie and Jack Randall

Just watched that episode last night. Looked away multiple times. Rough scene indeed.

Yellowstone's latest season was far and away the worst season of the series

Peacemaker is great, Gunn is very good at what he does

Didn't realize Righteous Gemstones was back. I love Danny McBride

Ive only watched the first 2 seasons of Yellowstone but I think the first season is good because it's a world that not many people have experienced. The problem is once the area has been explored by the show, the drama aspects of the show wasn't that great.

I think alot of these drama end up loosing their luster once the world building is done and they have no where left to explore with new scenery. Rich families fighting over their family business is something that alot of dramas are based off of. Succession has been good about moving the locations and being more globe trotting vs being in a singular location.

Yellowstone feels like a cross between Succession and Justified but it’s not as well written or as funny as either, and the characters are nowhere near as good.

"Hey buddy whatsamatter??"
"This house sucks :( "
"Haha okay buddy"

Contrast that with Justified.

"You shot me in the back!"
"Well if you wanted to get shot in the front, you should have ran toward me."

Just finished episode 7. Holy shit lol. Total acting clinic.

The wait for the final episodes is gonna suuuuuuuuuck
That last scene. Just...man. So good.

I've read a lot of speculation that the second half of the season could drop in May. Fingers crossed haha.

The latest episode of Boba Fett, err
Mandalorian
, was interesting...

Curious to see where things go from here...

Hopefully they just use this as an opportunity to just transition back to Mando and nobody cares because the quality is so much better. Thought it was the best episode of "Boba Fett" which is ironic.

Also, Bryce Dallas Howard is quickly becoming a fantastic director.
