New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anything from HBO is gold.

Hung is awesome, it's about a down on your luck teacher that all he has going for him is a large cock so he becomes a man whore. I totally relate to this show except the whole down on your luck thing.

Arrested Development is one of my favorite shows of all time, but they cancelled it. I'm looking forward to Community because it's done by the same people I guess.

True Blood is good and it's not completely gay like most vampire shows/movies there are a lot of twists and interesting subplots that keep you involved just like any HBO show.

Same with Entourage, but I think they have trouble creating any real conflict in the show so it's like watching Sopranos when it sucked.

Big fan of Heros as well and that should be coming back.

How I met your Mother is overrated if you ask me. I've only seen a couple shows, but from who is in it, I thought I should have been laughing more.

House is sweet. Great show and I hate Dr dramas.

The Office and 30 Rock are a must.

Once again, anything HBO Sunday that isn't Sex in the City

30 Rock and Always Sunny are chronic.

Lost is awesome.

Just started watching Mad Men, and it seems like it's got some promise.

Imo the wire is one of if not the best show of all time. If you want i have the streams on another thread ( look up wire streams.) Entourage is another great show.

Yeah i watched the first season of always sunny and its f'in hilarious. I'm downloading the 2nd and 3rd season right now. I absolutely love Entourage, The Wire, The Sopranos, Seinfeld and the office. I have watched Entourage the wire and Sopranos at least twice each.

I'm really digging Entourage this season. Seems funnier than last year. My favorite episode so far is the golf outing I laughed so hard during that episode.

Thanks for the Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia suggestion!!

Jon

I gotta hand it to you Matt, I was pretty bummed on the Wire after the first 4 or 5 episodes, then you posted that thread with the streams and I got way hooked back in.

I'm on the 4th to last episode of the series as we speak. Hope to wrap up the series before I go to be tonight. :D

Everybody needs to watch this show.

Always Sunny is back tonight at 10 on FX

The Office is back as well - 9 on NBC

Both are must-see TV

As for old shows that you may not have seen before, I recommend Sports Night. Highly underrated...it's about a SportsCenter-type show and it's good.

EDIT: Tonight is the season premiere of Always Sunny AND The Office, since apparently that wasn't clear before.

and how long has the office been back? I didn't know damnit.

The Office went downhill after about the 3rd season and any new episodes I have seen have been from okay to unwatchable. They just go further and further to make it ridiculous whenever they can. It just doesn't fit the formula of the show IMO.

Sunny has gotten progressively more ridiculous with each season as well, but it fits perfectly. I cannot wait for the fifth season to start tonight.

Arrested was the best show of all time IMO.

And 30 Rock is the best comedy on the big networks right now IMO. I don't get how NBC is the only channel that gets that you should stop making on set TV shows and should go to a more real format. There are no laugh tracks on NBC, and it's great. Seems like every other network keeps going back to the old formula that I find dated and almost embarrassing at this point. Sometimes the writing can make the show work anyway, but I feel like the laugh track especially holds back every show that has one.

Fixed.

Agreed with most on here. I would start with

Dexter

It's Always Sunny (New Season tonight!)

Trailer Park Boys - Canadian show, pretty funny

Breaking Bad

Mad Men

Lost

I'm surprised it took this long to get a BB mention. It's easily one of my favorite new-ish shows.

I've heard good things about Mad Men, haven't gotten around to watching it yet though.

Grave digging but wanted to say that dexter is really good this season. Another good show is Eastbound and down. It is only one season in and is kinda stupid but still must see really funny.

How I met your mother is fucking hilarious. The new season so far hasnt been up to the previous ones, but still pretty decent.
Community is pretty good too, but you can tell there still trying to figure out the forumla for the show for what works and what doesnt.
Modern Family is okay, ive only seen the first two eps.
Two and a Half men is going downhill, since they made Charlie finally hook up with Chelsea. As in Marrage...its not really the same
Big Bang Theory is alright, some good jokes here and there

Edit: I didnt even know that I posted in this thread before...what the hell?

The Cavs. Starts in 9 days and is supposed to be very fucking exciting and at the end of the last show each cast member will recieve a ring.

Im goin to give it a watch anyway.
