New Uniforms!

This thread made me think we were getting sneak peek at the uniforms to debut in 2020.

What a buzzkill.

But those were gimmicky with yellow. These would be sweet with orange.

Think more on the sweet side and less on the gimmicky side when you picture it and it sounds so much better.

I always liked these and thought they'd look good with our orange helmet. Just basically color-rush simplify it to mirror our current color-rush jerseys.

Orange helmet, orange numbers, orange writing.

As an accent, Gray was on the facemasks at various points for a long, long time.

Of course we’re orange and brown. But that doesn’t make us base-white, either.

I don’t see why our light away uni’s can’t be light gray or—at minimum—have an alternate light gray versus pure white.

Every team has a base white. I don’t get why you’d throw grey in there instead of brown or orange again. And using a face mask as justification doesn’t make sense either.

Seattle has that variation of a grey, but it doesn’t make sense for us as a franchise.. the look we’ve portrayed is the old school traditional look, why suddenly throw a curve ball with grey. I understand, I enjoy variations of jerseys but I think traditional suites us best.

Then, I would make two other sets of the Color Rush for away games.

One that is all white with orange in the same places and one that is all light gray with orange in all the same places.

I see what you’re saying, I just think it’s cheesy kinda breaks away from our roots too much. I wouldn’t mind looking at em, but would prefer to go back to our previous look

The gray facemask adds a 4th color to the scheme, which is unnecessary. Most folks like the color rush jerseys. Well, those jerseys are mostly just brown and orange. The white accent isn't even there. I'd be happy if the color rush jerseys get a bit of white accent, but not a lot. The gray facemask is a part of the team's history, yes; however, that doesn't mean it needs to be or should be part of the team's history moving forward.

It always depresses me when fans come up with far better uniform designs that are universally praised, compared to the actual teams. Applies to both the Cavs and Browns.

Maybe it’s a Nike issue.
