Despite having 20 years in the NFL, Anthony Lynn has only actually been an offensive coordinator/play caller for less than one season.

He took over as OC for the Rex Ryan led Bills in 2016 in week 3 and that's the extent of his OC experience.

There are enough teams with win now rosters that need a quality veteran QB - Indianapolis, Washington and San Francisco all come to mind - that it seems like the Lions may actually be able recoup a 1st round pick for a 33 year old QB.

Pittsburgh is going to be in for a major cap crunch. No way they will be able to fit Stafford.

They're basically stuck with Ben unless he retires imo. I can't see anyone trading for the guy on his contract when there are far better, younger QBs like Stafford and Watson available, plus a loaded draft at the QB position for teams with high picks that need a quarterback.

If Ben had decided to retire, they'd be in a much better position to make a move for Stafford.

But since Ben is definitely not walking away from that money, the Steelers aren't really in any sort of position to add another big money player at QB.
