I would prefer Gilmore over Lattimore, just because I don't think having 3 corners who spend copious amounts of time on the IR is a good idea.

Per Pro Football Reference, since Lattimore entered the league in 2017 he has played in 57 regular season games (13, 16, 14, 14) compared to Gilmore’s 56 regular season games (13, 16, 16, 11).

I don’t pay a lot attention to the Saints or Ohio State, so does Lattimore leave games or does he carry an injury designation / play through injuries a lot?

He had a number of soft tissue injuries at OSU and early on.

Not prohibitive, obviously. Either player would really be a great add.

He only had 1 healthy season at Ohio State

Miami has Brian Flores. Actually think that shows some conviction imo, wants to play for a team that is willing to hire a black head coach. As for the Jets, maybe he really like Saleh?

I'm just baffled that he would prefer the Jets, who are a dumpster fire that hasn't proven anything yet and is light on talent, over the Dolphins, who look to have hired the right coach and has at least a little proven talent on the offensive side, plus a boatload of draft picks to enhance that talent level.

Although as someone who has Denzel Mims in my main dynasty league, Watson going to New York would be amazing.

I don't follow the Saints super closely, but from what I understand he has had some nagging injuries that he's played through over the past few years that have affected his performance. His PFF grades reflect this as they've declined each year he's been in the league. That said, PFF isn't perfect by any means. Lattimore has been to 3 Pro Bowls already.

For a mid-round pick, I agree it'd be a good move to bring him in. He'd also have all the motivation in the world given he's in a contract year and is a Glenville kid.

It'd also be cool to see him & Denzel on the field together again.

Us getting Lattimore would be great.

He’s a fa after the year and I don’t know how we re-sign him without jettisoning someone good.

That would be a good problem to have, no?

There's always the franchise tag if the Browns don't want to commit long-term to Lattimore (or someone else).

Also, depending on how FA plays out in '22, the Browns could let him walk and get a compensatory pick in return, potentially recouping what they gave up to get Lattimore in the first place.

I’m not 100% sure we can afford a franchise tag.

And if we’re trading for him just to let him walk in a year, how much are we giving up?
