NFL Week 13 (11/30/14): Browns (7-4) @ Bills (6-5) [1:00 PM EST, CBS)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cincy has a hard stretch of games, we have to beat them. We're still in this boy's.

Does the presser get lived streamed anywhere? NFL.com, Browns website?

They can go 3-1 and get in, with the key being the Steelers knocking off the Bengals in the last week.

No bullshit, i think we get beat up good today. They have 46 sacks and no one else even has 40. This is just a terrible matchup for Hoyer...he's going to continue to struggle and be on his back a lot. With all our injuries, this is going to be a lopsided contest.

Bills big...book it!

Nailed it!!!

Yep.

Anyway I missed the game. How'd Johnny look?
His throws had good zip on them. Could have been a little more accurate on his ball placement on his completions. His legs added a dimension we haven't seen in the red zone, which was sorely needed.

Overall, it's obvious he's a better fit in this offense with all of the play action roll outs/boot legs.

Hard to say because of all the variables. On the plus side, he led an impressive no-huddle drive with a deflated offensive group, our 3rd string center, and against the best DL in football. Made quick decisions and threw the ball on a frozen rope.

On the other hand, the Bills had no gameplan for him so I'm not sure a direct comparison to Hoyer's abysmal performance gives us much insight. There was a weird fumbled snap thing in our own endzone that the refs bailed us out on, but I'm not blaming that on Manziel at all.

I heard him take the blame for that during the post game presser while driving home from work. I imagine it's easy to miscommunicate when it's your third string center and a QB getting his first real action.

I've heard a lot of talk about that one good drive. Were the Bills in a soft coverage prevent?

How'd he look on his other drives? I'm not sure how many he had.

Miles Austin was taken to hospital with abdominal pains.

I thought he looked pretty damn good. Arm strength certainly looked there, not that he was bombing it down field but as someone else said he was throwing it impressively on a rope. He did thread the needle on one big completion, had me kind of scared. I saw the touchdown run coming the second that hole opened up and I honestly couldn't contain my excitement as he knifed into the endzone. I thought he was good. Then again, this is after people on this forum had me thinking the guy was going to get touched by an NFL defender and end his career, so in comparison to that it was hard not to look impressive.

It was basically only one drive. The other drive was fudged by that fumble/incomplete pass or whatever you want to call it. Will have to see him in a full game next week to judge more.

I jumped out of my seat on that TD run. I just couldn't help it. The first TD run from a Browns QB since Colt McCoy in 2010...LOL

I was sitting with Hoyer people and I think even they were acknowledging that it's time to go Manziel, at least for the end of that game.
