Nick Chubb: Future Member of Browns Ring of Honor

Nick Chubb was a really solid player on the Cleveland Browns... Went about his business the right way... So did Joe Thomas...

Pretty easy to move on from...

This franchise is in shambles and that's a primary concern...

And before you ask, I love Nick Chubb. I have his merch, I have his jersey. He's one of my all-time favorites. I just think that there's a segment of fans that's trying to push a narrative and using Chubb as a shield. It's kind of corny, but as expected.
Why do you always try to make things into some underlying issue

People love Nick Chubb because he is the best skill position player this iteration of the Cleveland browns have ever had and it’s really not even close. In addition, he embraced the city and had a quirky side that people enjoyed as well. He never complained despite being on a truly hopeless organization and came to work every day and out worked everyone

This franchise is an utter disgrace and people lose sight of just how impossibly bad it has been. Nick Chubb is one of the handful of rare exceptions to the rule that have come through this franchise in 30 years. That’s why people love him.

As I understand it, before the draft and before they reworked Ford's contract, the Browns had a standing offer out to Nick Chubb for slightly more guaranteed money (2.8M v. 2.5M) than he got from the Texans.

I keep saying this, it was never about money for Chubb, it is the ability to play. He is 2nd on their depth chart, 3rd on ours.

I even respect the reason Chubb left the Browns, the man just wants to play football. The business of football some times sucks, but Chubb will always remain a favorite player of mine.

When was Nick Chubb’s last 100 yard rushing game?

Week 1 in 2023 at home against CIN.

When was Deshaun Watson’s last 300 yard passing game?

Week 17 in 2021 at home against TEN.
So he was still with Houston then.

So in this universe, Watson has zero 300 yard games for the Browns. So are you saying Watson has been very bad since being traded to the Browns?

Asking for a friend.

Maybe it was? Maybe you didn't believe it was?
