Nik Stauskas & Sauce Across The World Tour

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
44% 3 point shooter in college

35% in the NBA. He only broke .40 one time.

ft% always over 80

Shot 6 3's a game in college at 44% and isn't a very good shooter in the NBA. It is just hard to believe in this age where everyone can shoot the 3 that he has no consistency there and that extra couple of feet he hasn't been able to adjust in 4 years. That is weird. Does he not work or is he mentally broken by the 7 teams he has been on?

I think its more of the latter... Maybe playing for a rebuilding team without the expectations of a top 10 pick will do him wonders...

He seems like the kind of guy who will find success on the Spurs at some point in his career.

With his college coach being the new Cavs coach... This might be his last chance to show that he belongs in the NBA, if he doesn't play well he may end up playing in Europe or China for the rest of his career

The one thing Nik Stauskas brings you is the ability to use the letters in his name to spell "Stinkass" and still have letters left over for your next turn.

The guy is a lousy three point shooter who offers nothing else as a player. He's overpaid at minimum salary.

Does he stick now? Man, if he could just clean up his game a bit, he would be cool off the bench. Just makes some dumb plays

I think Stauskas might get a camp invite now. We have 10 guaranteed contracts and probably want to resign Nwaba. They are probably looking to trade JR's contract and that will bring back at least one player. Also two draft picks at minimum to add to the roster, that would be 14 players. We might have one open roster spot, I'm not sure you just give that to Stauskas especially with how he has played. I think he will have to fight for it in camp and the preseason against undrafted rookies and a few other players.

Yeah seems like there has to be someone else who would be better. Stauskas played a lot better at the end than when he first got there, but he has some major problems.

If we are at 14 players, someone better just might be an empty roster spot. I think Koby likes having that flexibility to work with for trades.

Yeah especially with the expirings and how close they are to the cap

When looking at roster numbers, don’t forget we’re likely to make some big (salary-wise) deals with the expiring contracts (especially JRs) soon. Coupling 2-3 guys like Henson, Knight, Delly, etc to get a big deal from another team wouldn’t be surprising.

Am I the only one excited to see what impact Nik can bring to the bottom of our bench next season?

Kind of scary to think he is so lost on an NBA court and the guy who prepared him for the next level is now the Cavs coach..
