And Houston wants to dump the Knight contract. That's what they're dangling the pick for. They're not going to spend it on Hood.

San Antonio matches salary better, but I highly doubt they trade a first for Hood. I think they might think about it for Burks because they get Bird Rights back, though not sure who they'd send back for salary purposes.

I wonder what San Antonio has in mind for there two # 1's? I could see them trading Gasol and the Toronto pick for someone that would make a difference, ...TT if they feel his foot problems are over?

I would be surprised if we take Knight's 15M for next year for a late #1 from Houston. It would get us pretty close to the Lux tax. However, JR's contract would work.

Value out of Hood... you really thought someone would give a first for him? He isnt a difference maker, he isnt even the talent of 50 year old Korver who can at least rain some 3's. Ill take what we got and move on to trading our other assets.
