Sophie Turner says we won't like what happens to her character. Pretty confident this episode is going to be total ass.

Do we think any twists happen tonight? I just kinda doubt it. If there is, it'd be so forced at this point.

Just think Dany clearly dies. And maybe we get a surprised death? I guess Jon would be the only one that counts as that.

I think any character left wouldn't be a shocking death.

Sansa dying would be sorta surprising. Especially if Jon does it. Yes, I know, not plausible, but wouldn't surprise me if Dumb and Dumber put it in for shock value.

They allowed Dany to burn innocent people for the hell of it. So every stupid theory is in play. :chuckle:

This has been pretty good so far.

I imagine it's gonna fall apart but Tyrion tossing his badge and the Tyrion/Jon scene were both great.

Someone tell me if Tyrion somehow, magically, stumbled upon Jaime's hand. Please tell me that happened, when Jaime died at the bottom of the fucking Red Keep and had the whole building fall on him. Would be Peak GOT season 8.

Yeah, as expected, this went south pretty quickly.

Did love them all laughing at the idea of democracy, though. :chuckle:

Where all the pieces ended up was fine. It was just that getting there felt rushed and just...thin.

Only thing I guessed right was that Jon would end up heading into the far north with Tormund.

I didn't mind it. Bran has always been my favorite character but I don't think the show did justice to Bran like he is in the books. I think more people would have been rooting for Bran and it might have given it away if they made him the character from the book and they spent as much time with him.

Arya spinoff is in play. Jon going to be with the wildlings is fine by me. Sansa as the queen of the north is whatever. I don't think she ever wanted to leave winterfell again so.

It’s legitimately ridiculous that the heads of the non-Stark houses would not only vote for an uncharismatic, weird, staring teenage boy to rule over them...but then also be totally fine with the Starks getting an independent kingdom. Like wtf? Why the fuck would Yara Greyjoy, who literally stated five minutes before that Jon Snow should be killed and who has always hated the Starks, not want the Iron Islands to be independent? And what about Dorne? The Vale? They don’t want to be independent as well?

Dorne has always been kind of independent. They called their ruler a Prince.

I think it was more of a screw it Tyron makes a point and the group was going to back someone from the long night crew anyways. They just wanted the unsullied and dothraki gone.

They see King's landing in ruins and probably all sick of war. I bet most didn't even feel like the north getting independence was really that real because the new King's sister is the ruler and it's the King's birthright house.

Also the north isn't viewed as that valuable by the rest of the realm.

That’s all good and well but everything in your post is speculation. The show did not do the legwork to demonstrate why the lords and ladies of powerful houses would be content being ruled by a Stark boy while his sister gets to have her own independent kingdom that they don’t get to have.

Didn’t Sansa explicitly state that North was its own nation, a clear mention of what basically happened before Aegon Targaryon basically formed the 7 kingdoms?

Do we really need 2 threads guys? :chuckle:
