Browns | Taylor deciding on where to sign
Tue, 21 Mar 2006 21:56:03 -0800

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports free agent LB Ben Taylor (Browns) is deciding whether to re-sign with the Cleveland Browns or to accept an offer from the Green Bay Packers. The Packers view Taylor as a starter, according to agent Bob Lattinville. However, he said their one-year offer didn't reflect that. "I know Ben won't be retiring off the offer he's got from Green Bay," Lattinville said. "Right now he'd come in as a starter. We were hopeful he might get offered starter money, but that's their prerogative." The Browns have offered him a comparable offer. The Carolina Panthers have also reportedly entered the fray.

Please god let the Packers take him, it will cut down the chances of them potentially going after Hawk (hopefully) and I sure as hell don't want em back.

Packers | B. Taylor agrees to terms
Fri, 24 Mar 2006 21:42:28 -0800

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with free agent LB Ben Taylor (Brown) on a one-year contract that probably was worth less than $1 million. The decision by Taylor to pick Green Bay over re-signing with the Cleveland Browns came down more to the possibility of significant playing time and maybe a starting job in Green Bay.

There is a god..

U serious? C'mon. If they thought that he would be good enough, they would have tried to sign him a long time ago. Even if he came back, he'd be backup. Just insurance. Plus, he'd be better this year due to a better D-Line.

Well they promised him a starting spot. I don't honestly think it will alter if they want him but I'm hoping, maybe they'll take someone else? I hope..
