We trade:

Wally/Pavs/Darnell

They trade one of these combos:

1- Mason (31), Collison (28), Wilcox (26), Wilkins (28)
2- Mason (31), Watson (29), Wilcox (26), Wilkins (28)
3- Watson (29), Collison (28), Wilcox (26), Wilkins (28)

Why would OKLA city do this??

-Wilkins is sitting on the bench, putting up 4 ppg in 11 mpg
-Wilcox is putting up 6 and 5 in 20 mpg, looks likely to get traded
-I keep going back to Collison (6 and 6 in 27 mpg) because he's the only player on that roster who doesn't expire by 2010, but I don't think they care about his 6 mil so maybe they'll keep him.
-Watson (28 mpg) would just be there if they want to keep Mason's 8 ppg in 27 mpg or Collison.

As you can see, that is five veterans. Two of them sit on the bench when they could be contributing to championship teams in Wilcox and Wilkins. The other three get under 30 mpg but only two of them are under 30 and only one of those contribute (Watson).

This team is and has been in recent months the perfect trade partner for us, and right now they have the perfect mix of veterans and talent to give us. It's basically the same thing for them, except they are missing some players to give garbage time to. That can be spread around the young trio of Durant/Green/Westbrook and DJ White when he's back. I really hope we can pull off a trade involving Wilcox and Wilkins, it would be AMAZING.

Lateral move, I would hope Wally's contract is more valuable than that.

Mason, Wilcox contact ends this year & Watson next year. Why pick up new tabs?

OKC has the opportunity to build the a good team around KD come 2010.

no thanks Wilkins and watson r undersize, why have 4 players that r like 6 ft 3 or shorter

That would not be a good trade for the Cavs.

I have some interest in Wilcox, but that's it. Aren't Watson and Wilkins a bit redundant when you consider our current roster?

bcuz thay ken shuut tha ball f00l!

Actually, I wouldn't do this trade at all

Yeah that trade seems like a wash for both sides, doesn't really help us in a noticeable way, and I'm fairly certain we can get better than that for Wally's contract as long as we hold onto him until the trade deadline.

I found this from our local star W&G. Maybe it brings this back into play. I didn't look on the site to find his post.

I still think something could happen after Snow's contract is done Dec. 5. The stuff about Andy's is close to that date. But the trade on this post doesn't take anything away but does boost the frontcourt.

I like mason. I think he could be that athletic stopper for big 2s and 3s. Oky could do this since pavs and jackson are young.

These players aren't working for OKC so why the hell would we want them

A bunch of scrubs? Wilcox is the only talented one, and he's got the mental capacity of Drew Gooden. I pass easily on this trade.

No thanks... we've done FAR more trading with Oklahoma than anyone in their right mind should at this point.

Those guys combined to help propel their team to 1 win in their first 16 games and you want to trade for them? Rofl, may as well throw in Lebron too because when that bushel of turds hits our roster he'll hit the door.
