OT: Gambling 2019 Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not a great day for the Falcons

Didn't see billmac's picks before I rolled with mine, but here is my 4-teamer for Saturday. $15 to win $185

Maryland (-1.5) vs Syracuse
Both teams shut out their opponent last week, even though they aren't teams to write home about. I think Maryland, at home, will try and air raid their way to victory. Think the home crowd will help, as well. Think it will be close, but think Maryland will cover and of course, win the game.

Michigan (-22) vs Army
Army's triple-option vs UM's retooled defense. UM will be better this week. At home. Army is on a 10-game win streak. Michigan's goal is to get Army in 3rd & long's and then they are fucked. People are riding Army hard this game, I couldn't go with it. Think Michigan will go deep & often on Army.

Really good call.

Really bad call.

Double backdoor covers on my parlay today in dramatic fashion.

New Mexico State +55
Texas A&M +16.5

A&M scored a TD to cover with 6 seconds left and NMS opted for a FG at the end of the game while trailing 62-7 to sneak in a cover. :chuckle:

Bowling Green absolutely got destroyed....feel like an idiot suggesting that one.

On the flip-side KY covered again, and UCF dominated.

Depending on when u jumped in on Auburn, they covered as well. The line actually slid to -16 at kickoff. Was -17.5 most of week. I suggested it at -19 so I won’t do a victory lap, but I doubled up on them at -17.5 and then -16 at kickoff and got a little lucky.

This weather delay sucks with UW and Cal. I’m up quite a bit on day, and UW covering -13.5 would be pretty sweet.

College has been good to me so far this year.

But fuck Bowling Green. That was pathetic.

Bought that half to get to 17. Feeling great about it.

Parlayed Mac’s picks without BG and added Stanford.

3/5 kinda sad.

So after I double my money w the browns, what other teams should I bet on?

3 Team Parlay:
Browns ML
Eagles ML
Seattle ML

Pays 1:1 or better

Kansas City -3 at Jax (max play for me)
Falcons +4

Doubled down on KC once Foles went down, got them at -9.5

Good thing I did, because the other two were a disaster.

Yep, wasn't the greatest week for me. Nailed the Maryland and covered the Auburn. Got shitkicked from Stanford and of course Michigan.

Gonna start going down to 2 game or single game bets. And not drink before picking Michigan. Will be back on here Friday to give the picks.

Had NO/Hou under 57.5

Not only did the back-to-back bomb's kill me, but the missed XP before the penalty would have put them at 57 after Brees' drive.

Miraculous way to lose a bet.

Had the Texans ML, fucking Crennel and his soft ass prevent defense. That game was a roller coaster for me.

17 points is a crazy NFL spread, but might have to take the Patriots this week, Dolphins look that bad.

On the college side I'm going big on Maryland and Iowa this week.

The record for teams and huge spreads isn't great, but we've rarely seen a team near mutiny like the Dolphins are.

Hate doing this cause it seems like a homer, but riding the B1G hard this week. As I said earlier, I will probably just pick a couple of 2-teamers or heavy bet on a single, but things I am liking already:

As TopGun said, I am going w/Maryland -7 at Temple

Ohio State -14 at Indiana

Michigan St. -11 vs Ariz. St.

Virginia -7 vs FSU is intriguing if QB is fully healthy. May stay away though.

Florida -10 at Kentucky. Kentucky will have a new QB, but Florida may have their best WR + CB out. If they both play, I may try and get in before they raise the spread.

That's just a quick glance and will dive more into more matchups Friday
