Hey everyone,

There's one last piece of LeBron that's still left in this city and it's our very own LeBron2010 Billboard that we worked oh so very hard on.

It will be taken down Tuesday, (tomorrow) at 7:00am.

I will try to be there while they remove the banner to take the last and final photos of it being on the building. If any of you would like to show up, perhaps take photos of it as well and talk about how pissed off we are together that would be cool. I would be there for about an hour til 8am.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all their help and embrace for what we created. We did our part, don't EVER forget that. Our goal was to get LeBron to notice the banner and get national attention. The banner was featured on very big time credible news sources such as ESPN, Sports Illustrated, New York Times and USA Today.

Also, it got coverage from all of the local news networks. Even Sportsnet Canada came down to Cleveland to talk to me about it.

Most importantly, it was shown in the beginning sequence ON THE DECISION which 10 Million people saw. Pretty cool when you think of it.

So we did what we wanted to do, can't say the same for rival site nycforlebron.com. THE SITE ISN'T EVEN UP ANYMORE. I would have loved to see what they did with their little precious donations. I can tell you one thing, they didn't get LeBron that Ferrari that's for damn sure.

Also, I'd like to say nice try to Chicago. Nice try.

If any of you already have photos taken with the banner, it would be cool to share them here just for memories sake.

Thanks again RCF and Cavs fans all over. It was a fun ride.

But seriously Glen, congrats again on getting something so good done to try to keep him here. We've all been played.

I don't regret the donation. I am glad you followed through on this. Just account for a lack of moral fiber any more. Thanks for all the hard work that included WUJU aswell.

It is by far the greatest act of fan dedication and generosity. It's a shame mr james didnt think so, i doubt miami even give a shit when he becomes a FA

Glen,

I was thrilled to be there and meet you and other RCF members the day the banner went up. Unfortunately I won't be able to com up for the removal.

However, that was still one of my proudest moments as a CAVS fan.

The banner may have been focused on He Who Shall Not be Named, but it was driven by our collective dedication to the team.

Keep the Faith,
Chris

what are you doing with the banner glen? that could make for one heck of a fire :D i mean... ummm what

I thought of that, taking it to the big burning. But I believe the material is flame resistant to a certain point. The thing will only catch a flame for so many inches. It would take forever for that thing to burn up. Might be very bad pollution wise.

Screw pollution! We need some kind of excitement. :(

you could cut it up and send it out to RCF'ers that donated, or RCF'ers that are HOF posters or something - it would be cool to have a physical piece of the banner. It would also be cool if lots of people had pieces of it, just like lots of people came together to make it happen.

i believe the banner represents all that is awesome about cleveland sports, and sports in general.

it's not our fault that the object of the banner doesn't get it.

so, thank you Glen, and thank you RCF.

I heard the Nike one was sold to a lebron fanatic... Hmmmm...

Could sell it on Ebay and use it to pay RCF bills with the rest of the ad revenue.

My only fear is that someone in Miami buys it and puts it on their building to make fun of us.

Id say take the risk. Those odds arent likely, and who really gets the last laugh if they pay all that money for it?

Pay them bills Glen.

Sell it on Ebay, then take the revenue and lets get Lebron's 2006 quote about not chasing rings put on a billboard down in Miami across from their arena. I would help donate with that.
