Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You've obviously never been to 4th Street in Elko.

Quick research and I found this picture of buzzdog going into a Ranch in Elko

That place looks happening. Look at all the bush you walk over just to get in the place

My point is that it was made to sound like these places are trailer houses out in the middle of acres of sagebrush. That's not quite the case. In Elko if you make a wrong turn on your way to the laundromat you run into 3 of them on the same block. At night they're lit up like casinos.

I can't tell you what they look like on the inside though. Those who can have told me the girls are pretty nice. And very expensive.

The only reason Elko exists is because the railroad went through it, there are gold mines in the vicinity, the Feds did a lot of weapons testing and poison gas experiments in the area, and there are brothels and casinos for the miners, cowboys and reprobates.

It is in the middle of NE Nevada and that's a desert. It's definitely not a tourist attraction.

Why would Bob Kraft travel all the way to Elko just because what he wanted is legal there instead of a misdemeanor? WTF does NE Nevada have to offer anyway except mining, vice, desert and vultures?

I could be persuaded to visit Elko in the next life if I come back as a lizard or rattlesnake.

I work out of Elko because not many places pay a living wage in Ohio. But the cost of living is cheap in Ohio. So I have my primary residence there where I park the wife and the dogs. Work 20, home for 10. Better than trying to get by on Ohio wages.

It's a lot nicer than you make it out to be in northern Nevada but it's an acquired taste. It's not for everybody. And FWIW Nevada is one of the most mountainous states states in the union.

I hear you -- been working in different cities than my home for most of the past seven years. For sure you don't have the traffic problems we have on the East Coast.

I was in Nevada - Utah - Colorado a couple of years ago -- the desert does have a stark beauty. Unfortunately when my wife & I were there the government was shut down so we couldn't go to any of the national parks.

Tough to be away from home & the family.

I was in New York before I came back out here, flying in and out of Newark.

Whole different world. I prefer Nevada.
