Perception of Dolans vs Attendance

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’m choosing to believe he was being self-deprecating and context was lost in the transcript. Otherwise, not a good look, Paul.

I don’t know why he doesn’t just shut the fuck up. I’m usually one that defends him too.

My first impression was that he was taking a jab at how poorly that line was received previously

Honestly, I don't really see anything wrong with the first paragraph. Praises the entire fan base in 5 sentences before shifting his praise to the "high roller" fans. I don't think this gets much of a reaction if the fan base didn't have such an axe to grind with Dolan

The Lindor line is self-deprecating, but I wish he'd let that statement from last year die

I sort of find this whole thing sort of pathetic, that Dolan has to beg the sponsors in the room to actually support and prop up his winning franchise because the city won’t.

Of note:

A long time sponsor for the Indians recently pulled their sponsorship, taking millions off the table.

Who? If you're able to share

I know they went from Anheuser to Miller Coors last year. I doubt that was much of a drop off, if at all

Yikes. I wonder why...I feel like that’s a pretty big loss.

This ownership family should take some business classes across the street at Cuyahoga Community.
I would say some communications/marketing classes.

Whoever said he comes off as having a lack of awareness and being tone deaf nailed it.

Yeah how the fuck do you lose that big of a sponsorship?
