For a conditional mid round pick...as a Vikings fan, thanks for the 1st, 3rd, and 7th round picks Seattle.

Was he also banging Russell Wilson's wife? I wonder what receiver is next...?

He's a ridiculous weapon and Seattle wasn't even using him. Love the move for the Jets. Screw the Seahawks.

I'd like to think we could have made this move if we wanted to....

Harvin is overpaid for what he does, but he will be the focus of the grossly boring Jets offense from here on out. I'm fairly surprised. I think we will be hearing some behind the scenes stories about Harvin as a squeaky wheel soon.

Well known already that he is an ass personality wise. Threw weights at a Vikings coach, fought with the o coordinator and QB, money issues, etc...a lot of people speculate this started when the Randy Moss experiment came back to Minnesota and blew up. Also doesn't help that he hasn't really progressed his route running skills since he's been in the league. Bubble screen, slant, drag, or a fly is all he can run consistently. And that's not even touching on health concerns.

I've heard people say that about Josh Gordon as well.

Ok? I know practically nothing about Josh Gordon seeing as how I never get the chance to see Browns games anymore, so I don't know what you want from me here. Did watch Percy every game from 09 to 12 though.

I believe the point was that players can be very productive despite being poor route runners. Both Gordon and Harvin are tremendously talented... they aren't polished however. I would also say there is a difference between being a stoner and being an asshole.

Word floating around is that he got in a fight with the offensive coaches, threatened not to play on Sunday, and walked off the field during practice. The Seahawks then said he has a leg injury to cover it up. We'll see, but if it's true that makes it 3 separate coaching staffs he has fought with in his career already.

My issue with Percy's game has always been longevity. If you are going to spend a 1st round pick on someone, or pay them franchise money, you expect them to produce for you at a high level for around a decade. The route tree he is good at isn't exactly the best for hitting that longevity mark. The Seahawks were trying to expand his route running capabilities this year, but all that has produced so far is 22 catches and 133 yards for no TDs through 5 games this year at 6 yards per catch (lowest by 4 yards so far in his career). He's one of those guys I don't think makes it into his 30s at all the way he plays.

Would have been interesting to see what Shanahan could do with him, but the last thing the Browns need right now is a locker room distraction, and that was obviously Harvin given the price he was dealt for.

Seattle won it all last season with Harvin providing absolutely nothing. They don't have to pay Harvin all that dough, free up $ to pay Wilson soon, and got a mid-round pick to boot.

But are getting back nowhere near the value they gave up to get him in the 1st place. They got 6 games and 242 yards from scrimmage from him for 18.3 million dollars, a 1st, 3rd, and 7th rounder. Yikes.
