Peyton season fades
As snow melts winter closes
A new day reigns us in

On a side note, Cam Newton threw some shade Peyton's way. Was he HiGH?

Him and Vick changed the game at QB more in the last 15 years than anyone did the first 80 years.

He retires as the GOAT, but Brady has a chance to eclipse him, IMO...we really are living in the golden age of the QB.

I agree he makes Otto Graham look like the 50s Tim Tebow.

Only 3 years did he NOT get at least 4,000 passing. (4 if you include 2011 when he sat out the whole year with the bad neck).

One was his rookie year, when he took over the worst team in the league, and still threw for 3,700+. And this was back when rookies rarely started at QB.

One was 2005. The Colts were so good that year, he routinely sat out 4th quarters. Only attempted 453 passes (next lowest total as a Colt was 497). Still threw for 3700+ and 28 TDs.

Then this year.

Dude basically threw for 4,000 every year for 16 years, and started in 1998 when maybe 1 or 2 guys a year would do that.

Tom Brady is an all time great QB and will go down as a legend. But H2H, Peyton was the better player.

I agree with @Rob, GOAT, period.
