Sad part is we just had no one ready in the upper minors. All of the upper minors INF guys are either defensive specialists or veterans who never hit pro pitching. Stamets, Flaherty both cannot hit well. Mathias was the other guy and he wasn’t supposed to be at AAA though he had a good season down there. In 2-3 years we should be loaded in the AA/AAA with INF guys, right now we have nothing for depth especially with Ramírez out

Next year this team will be so much better with all the young arms and OF competition but right now let’s keep rooting and see what these guys can do. They got a lot of fire and heart so hopefully they can come through!
