Phoenix claims they will match

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is a bluff, they are trying to scare other teams away wit hthe current 15 day rule. What i find bogus is they are willing to match any teams offer but they wont pony up the scrilla and just sign him? Sounds very very fishy, Phoenix is praying that the 5 day rule doesnt get the go ahead.

Phoenix is looking to scare people off, then when it comes down to the last part of free agent signing, to net him for cheaper. They already denied him a contract extension last year for much cheaper, I doubt they pay joe in the 10 mill.

Teams always say they will match any offer for their RFA's. They cant afford to match a huge contract offer for JJ. If the waiting period is only 5 days, i'd say go for it and offer him some big money. If the Suns match, I think they will be putting themselvs in salary cap hell.

I mean this isnt really any surprise. I mean he kinda showed that he was an essential piece of the Suns roster when he was injured during the Spurs series. He will only get better and is still young so its good for the Suns to be able to lock him up for a couple more years.

Their bench was not that bad at all. Stephen Hunter and Jimmy Jackson are very solid off the bench, and Barbosa is not bad either. When people like Cliff Robinson get no PT in a game, your team is solid.
