Who do you think will get to the finals?

I say Suns or Kings to the finals and Miami. If i had to pick one, it would be the Suns. I dont think the Spurs will get passed the second round, they will either have to face the Rockets and Mavs, and with Tim Duncan having a 50/50 chance of being injured, it will seem tough after they get passed the Nuggets.

Your opinions?

Im pretty confident that the Heat will be in the Finals. Im have no idea witht the West tho. I would have said the Spurs, but with TD having injury issues Im not sure how well they'll do.

I guess I'll go with the Mavs and the Heat in the Finals. The Mavs are starting to play some defense under Avery and thay are an amazingly deep team.

I agree with Mavs and Heat.

How about a non common one?

I say:

Detroit Pistons> Phoneix Suns in 6.

Miami Heat vs Houston Rockets

Biggest upset of the playoffs Philadelphia over the Pistons.

NBA Finals:

if duncan is back... Spurs vs Indiana(i think that reggie will do all he can to reach the finals 1 last time)

but his effor wont win him that title..

Spurs in 6

suns wont do anything in a 7 game series, just like the mavs couldn't do nothing...

San Antonio Sprurs defeat the Miami Heat.

I will reserve my rights to post about the West Champs because I will be extremely bias. :)

My Darkhorse of the West are the Memphis Grizzles. I feel they will give the Suns all that they can handle. These guys have a lot of depth. Their record is meaningless because they have been flooded with injuries to Pau Gasol, Stromile Swift and a few others. If they play defense like Ive seen them play against the SUns WATCH OUT. LOL

But in the East I have to say the Pistons. In the past, to be the man you have to beat the man. They are the team that won the NBA championship last year.

My Darkhorse of the East will be the Indiana Pacers. Why not the Pacers? Why not Reggie Miller? These guys have pretty much limped themselves into the playoffs. Anything can happen.

Spurs beat Heat in 7.

But I'll be pulling for the Suns. It would be so fitting if Nashy would win a championship with his original team

Wasn't that PG trifecta the best EVER on a team at 1 time? - Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash (Suns '92-'93)

Isn't it funny that O'Neal and the Heat are heading towards the finals, and Kobe and his Lakers are at home eating bon bons?

I think it was expected. I mean the Lakers new when they traded Shaq there championship years were over. I just do not think they expected Shaq to lose so much weight and be good this fast in Miami.

I dont know about them heading toward the finals yet. It is hilarious that the team let some punk run ,the reasons they won those championships,
out of town. Now Jack Nicholson is sitting his ass at home, with his kobe jersey on waiting for another year. Kobe got what he deserved. I hope HE NEVER see's the playoffs again.

I really like the Grizzlies. Between their depth and Fratello and Musselman on that bench, I really like what they could do. That being said, it is just too far out on a limb for me to pick.

I like the Pistons in the East. They have the depth and defense to Hack-A-Shaq, and with Prince stepping up, I think they are the class of the Conference right now, regardless of record. In the West, its wide open. Right now I guess I'd be leaning toward San Antonio, but most any team that made the playoffs could make a splash, with the possible exceptions of Seattle and Sacramento, IMO.

Well considering Miami made it out of the first last year, and gave the Pacers some hell in the 2nd round. I think everyone already knew that with the addition of Shaq these guys would be an instant contender especially in the east. I think that some people kept their mouths shut just to be sure. I predicted them as #2 in the east and Detriot as #1 before the year started.

I think the one advantage Wade has over Kobe, and Penny is that he actually led his team into the playoffs and out of the first round.
