Playoff Picture

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I might be nuts but I think the Cavs are still going to do it despite giving me no real reason to believe. I think they will win both of these last 2 and the Nets will lose 1. NJ doesn't have 2 easy games--at Boston and home against Wash.

I have to try to be optimistic or it will piss me off too much to think the season was wasted.

If we can beat both Boston and Raptors I believe we will make the playoffs... No way the Nets will win their last two games.

The nets are streaking right now, and we haven't won in a while. It's going to be tuff to make the play offs. We have to beat boston, which will be tuff enough. Nets against Washington, washington should beat them pretty handily I think, but we have to win our last 2, no ifs, or butts.

Washington still has something to play for - the 4th seed and home court. They will probably give NJ a serious test. Boston on the other hand has locked up home court (with the Indiana loss tonight). Not sure how they will play now that they have both the division and home court locked up. Hopefully better against NJ than against us, heh.

Shaq is now hurt and although it's likely he'll play in the first round, it is not a sure thing at this point, nor is it a sure thing that he'll be 100% if he plays.

I would at least like to see the Cavs go out fighting. And they did fight in Detroit, they just couldn't pull it out down the stretch. But win these last 2 games, and win them convincingly, regardless of what the Nets do. Then hopefully the Nets drop one and we face Miami without Shaq at full strength. Go in with some momentum and anything can happen.

The playoffs have already started for us. During the next two days we need to win now, or we go home. Win these two games, and I think we will be in. I have a feeling the Nets are going to lose one, but they won't lose both.

I really hope Washington come to play vs the Nets tomorrow. No team wants to limp into the finals. My only fear is that Boston may possibly rest players vs the Nets on the final night. Not neccessarily for the entire game, but may not want to risk players for any extended minutes. Ricky D may even shoot the ball into the the Nets hoop for them (sorry). With no control on this situation, I do see the Cavalier's folding.

from what i heard boston needs one win to keep some homecourt advantage. if they beat us i don't think they NEED the second game (which is new jersey). we need the boston game bad.

i don't think we do it. lebron has a tough time against ricky and with z hurt we go down the tubes unless someone has a career game (gooden, varejo or sasha).

That was contingent upon Indiana winning last night. They did not.
