Playstation Vue

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I recently switched over to Vue from DTV and like it. They did have earlier issues with regional sports, I just got FSO a few days ago, but its been great. One account can be used on up to 5 devices at home, plus you can use the Vue log in for those channel apps for on demand or live sports like the fox app. I went with elite package since it gets a few more sports channel and velocity.

Plus you get cloud dvr to record shows, as well as having a catchup feature for shows that just aired. I think you can also create an account on their site without a ps3 or ps4.

I bought a fire tv and some fire sticks, but Id go with fire tv if you dont have a ps4. Both are great in terms of picture, but navigating is a lot slower on the fire stick compared to the fire tv.

Well, looks like I'm going to take the plunge in the next week or so. Will let you all know how it runs on an LTE connection.

I got it last week. Really like it so far. I'd like to see them add a few things like being able to switch between two channels with a button or allowing you to add favorites. But picture quality has been great. I just assume it'll continue to get more user friendly as more people join and give suggestions.

Id love a previous button lol. If you click on the channel, there should be a heart symbol, hit that and its added as a favorite

This also sounds real good:

You can watch on up to five TVs simultaneously from one account. Unlike Sling TV, which is limited to just one stream, Vue lets you stream to more than one device at the same time. Currently the limit is one PS3 and one PS4 in the same house, with additional simultaneous streams using Fire TV or iOS devices, up to five total streams at once. That means your multi-TV household can all watch something different at once, provided you have a fast enough Internet connection.

...

But can you stream simultaneously from different IPs?
Its location based I think, Ive read they lock accounts if you try accessing it outside the home.

There are some channel restrictions on mobile.
Is PlayStation™Vue available on devices other than the PS4 and PS3 systems?
Yep! You can enjoy PlayStation™Vue on a variety of devices, including Amazon Fire TV devices, iOS devices, and more. See more about devices and availability below.

How many devices can I stream PlayStation™Vue on at once?
A single PlayStation™Vue account can simultaneously stream PlayStation™Vue on up to one PS4 console and one PS3 console in the same home (Note: at this time, you cannot stream on two PS4 consoles or two PS3 consoles at any given time).

Additionally, you can use PlayStation™Vue Mobile on iOS devices, or PlayStation™Vue on Fire TV devices for additional simultaneous streams, with up to five total devices supported at once.

Are any features disabled outside of the home on PlayStation™Vue Mobile on iOS?
Outside of the home, you will not be able to watch any show on PlayStation™Vue Mobile that has been recorded to My Shows as “DVR”. You can, however, view your My Shows library and add programs to My Shows outside of the home, but the play button for any DVR’d show in the library will be disabled. Any “On Demand” show added to your My Shows library will be available for out-of-home viewing.

What is my “home location”?
Your “home location” is the IP address and zip code that are recorded along with your device when you first subscribe to PlayStation™Vue. PlayStation™Vue will not work across multiple IPs in the home

dude your wrong. it says right on the faq that you can access the vue outside the home location.

from the faq you friggin quoted

theres another FAQ with the channel list that you can watch outside the home list.

Robs question was can you stream from multiple IPs, thats why I posted that FAQ. Vue Mobile is different, its more like an app where you can access a certain amount of channels compared to using it on the main device, its why the word mobile is after Vue.
