Not a chance in hell do the Cleveland Cavaliers trade their 3rd pick.

No other way to put it.
Ive seen rumors saying they are willing to trade it. I doubt it would be with the rockets I just wanted yalls opinion.

the best combo the rockets could offer is Wood Eric Gordon KJ Martin and a couple future 1st for Love and the 3rd pick.
Anyways Draft should be interesting. rockets fans are really debating Mobley or Green. Its a toss up for me.

PS: KPJ is Awesome

Hello, I am a rockets fan and I just curious what yalls thoughts are on trading away the 3rd pick? Theoretically if the rockets tried to get the 3rd pick what would it take if they didn't give up the second pick?

Would you need us to take on Loves deal and give up future picks?
Christian Wood package plus picks?

Anyways good luck in the draft and next season.

If the Rockets want the #3 pick without giving up #2 this is a deal I would do:

Houston gets:
#3, Kevin Love

Cleveland gets:
Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr and the rights to whomever is selected with the #3 pick.

Makes sense to compare guys at the same stage of development?

Sure, but he wasn’t doing that.

And even if he was, Lonzo made 80-194 threes at UCLA (41%) at the same age Giddey is now.

Giddey made 29-99 this year (29%).

This may be unrelated to potential Sexton trade, but the Cavs are interviewing a host of prospects projected to go mid to low first round and even early second round.
The interviewee list includes: Kispert, Keon, Ziaire, Sharife, McBride, Boston, Kai Jones, and Jalen Johnson (besides Scottie Barnes).

If I remember correctly, last year's interviews were limited to projected 4-10 guys and projected borderline/undrafted prospects. So, the Cavs are clearly anticipating more draft picks this year via trade.

Last year's draft was a weird one with Covid. I could be wrong but I think it limited interaction possibilities with prospects.

Cavs also do these interviews because they sometimes target guys for trades later. Kabengele was a guy they scouted. Same with exum and Hartenstein I believe.

Dont be surprised if McBride is a late lottery pick, he is that good imo
I see some of these you name possibly falling some due to development needs like Williams and Boston who basically stunk in college and should have returned.
