and the Story goes on.... to boston.. who will now do a musical chairs thing with Xander moving one spot over to his right (3B).. Devers walking across the diamond to 1B... Thereby, possibly, making at least one of Bobby Dee and/or Tristan Casas "expendable"..

An astute trade for Dalbec who had a pretty impressive second half.. He would also make for a fine complimentary platoon partner to Bobby B...

Guys - it was posted on MLB Trade Rumore (from the BoSox mgr) that Story will be at 2B & that Story agreed to & knew the plan before signing.
A reversal of his earlier position that he was not open to changing positions..

Any interest in this guy, super cheap.. Edit - I am thinking 1st base/OF depth at AAA here. As a righty I figured he'd hit lefties better, but apparently that's not the case...

Our former Nick Witt.. (aka, Nick Wittgren) is pitching a fine inning for the Red Birds.. If not for two errors, he'd be sitting in the clubhouse enjoying his afternoon.. Even so.. he's giving up nothing..

FWiW... Juan Yepez had what might be a Scott Hatteburg inning at 1B for the Red Birds.. two throws in the dirt that he didn't handle.. at all.. and played behind the runner (reached on the second error) on 1B with a 2-2 count.. in the bottom of the fifth inning, when Wittgren went to throw over... ooops.. Balk.. I think coach can play 1B better defensively.. but only if it's on OOTP.. Nick-Witt induced a room service two hopper to Gorman at 2B to end the threat..

I could have gotten the two misplays Bradley did at 1B... but then again I could play anywhere on the INF and catcher.

I mean technically in OOTP you can unretire guys and get them on rosters haha I often make a high potential kid with my last name in the game just cause once I get bored I have nothing better to do lol
