I am pregnat.
Just saying, but my mom was 5' and maybe 110 before she was pregnant with me. My dad was just 5'8. And I was a 9lb 2oz baby.Oh, cool. This got bumped (pun intended) on a big day for me. 33 weeks, 3 days, and just had my first major ultrasound in a month (the kind where they measure just about everything). Having regular nonstress tests and biophysical profiles, too.
Little one...has gotten freaking huge. He had a very normal estimated fetal weight and abdominal circumference at the standard 20 week ultrasound (right around 50th percentile for both back then), but now he's at 99> percentile for abdominal circumference. He's estimated to be 5 pounds and 9 ounces already, which is bigger than I was at my own full-term birth (5 pounds and 6 ounces).
I was 5'2" and a little over 120 pounds prior to pregnancy, and I've gained 29 total pounds...nothing too substantial. Husband is 5'9" and 130 pounds. I have no idea how we're thus on pace to produce about a 9 pound baby. I do have the rare type 1 form of diabetes, but my sugars have been really good throughout pregnancy, so theoretically I shouldn't have one of those big diabetic babies. But here he is.
Yeah you got a big one. My gf has gestational diabetes too, trying to avoid the big baby ourselves. Glad everything has been good so far for ya.Oh, cool. Literally the first thing we watched after my wife told me she was pregnant.
Well guys, unfortunately I have cholestasis, so...instead of having the baby by C-section on January 18, he needs to be delivered tomorrow.
Wish me and the baby well!
