That is a GREAT group of running backs there.

Yesterday Lamar sure looked like a RB playing QB. I am not ready to anoint Lamar for that reason as a great QB....the potential is still there. Mahommes on the other hand, yeah he is the best out there right now, and to me the only qb close is Russell Wilson.

Still gotta put Rodgers up there. I have him third to Russ and Mahomes.

LeFleur did some work this summer. That offense always looked like it was built on a house of cards last year. Totally different this season. Rodgers is unreal right now.

Ok, I haven't Watched Rodgers much this year, he is one of my favorites and if it wasn't for the pandemic, I live 4 blocks from a GB Bar, lol.

I love Rodgers, but he seems to be slipping a bit, still clearly 3rd in the NFL though.
Besides the stupid narrative over the off-season that he was done after GB drafted Love, how has Rodgers declined at all? The guy has thrown a total of 6 interceptions to 60 td's over the past 3 years and to my eye still looks incredible.

Genuinely asking. Because if he's slipping, I don't see it.

He is losing exscapability from I see. He is still accurate, but the running portion of his game is a bit less. Look he is an all time great, and I have not watched him this year, but that one aspect of his game is no longer there. Still great arm, accurate, and all the things you want from a qb, but it was a part of his game. I know injuries and other things you don't want your qb rushing too much, but you asked,

Look he is still better than any qb in the history of the Browns including Otto, and don't even bring up Bernie.

Fair enough. Honestly, I think the way he dragged out plays was the biggest problem with his game. Sure, it made a few highlights, but there were so many times he passed up okay throws to try and make a perfect throw.

Since he's moved away from that, I think he's gotten even deadlier. And all this without a weapon in sight... it's a travesty that he doesn't have anyone besides Davante who can help him out. Look at how much just letting Aaron Jones on the field instead of Jamaal Williams improved that team.

Lafleur was such a good hire... mostly because McCarthy is so awful.

I watched him some last year, one of my favorites too watch, but there I always loved watching him extend plays. its not like he throws allot of picks, occasionally he gets sacked when he should throw the ball away, but still I think we are both splitting hairs on our points.

When you're talking about 3 of the best to ever do it, splitting hairs is all that's left.

Such a humble and soft spoken guy as well. Not looking for attention. Just goes out and kicks ass.
Refreshing in this day and age.

Truly emphasizes what Pettine intended when he referred to "playing like a Brown," even though in reality Pettine's expression brought toilet jokes with how the team looked back then.

Indeed, Chubb is Jim Brown without the off-field baggage...

Mike Pettine looked like Vince Lombardi when compared to Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens. That team was devoid of talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball. To have won 10 games in 2 years, really is amazing.

He'd be a great DC for us right now.
