Purdue vs. Ohio State - 9pm ESPN 1/25/11

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The road to the big ten regular season title just got a little bit easier, granted MSU has been struggling as of late.

Michigan State basketball head coach Tom Izzo announced that junior guard Korie Lucious has been dismissed from the team for the remainder of the season.

The school's Web site included this statement from Izzo:

"Unfortunately, Korie Lucious displayed conduct detrimental to the program. My focus is on this team for the remainder of the season."

The article included this response from Lucious:

"I didn't live up to the standards of the program. Unfortunately, I let my teammates, my coaches, and myself down, and wish them the best for the rest of the season."

The Web site said the school would have no further comment on the expulsion.

Izzo is having one tough and stressful year this year. He might be regretting not getting out when he could. :D

Izzo will still be in the Sweet Sixteen. Dude knows how to coach come tourny time.

This game was amazing in displaying the weapons the Buckeyes have. I think it is Duke and Ohio State all the way this year. Of course some teams have the potantial to upset but, these two are hands down the best.

I'm getting a little scared.. We need to lose soon so we can still win the title. :chuckles:

In all seriousness, I don't want to lose in the Big Ten tourney or the NCAA tourney. I'd prefer we lose to Purdue at Purdue if anything.

Is it me or did that that layup that Craft made when he spun around the guy and laid it in with the oppossite hand remind you like Rajon Rondo a little bit? Also that hesitation move was sick as well. Kids turning to a great PG.

That layup was nasty, the footwork on that play was amazing.

Except he knows MSU could beat this Cavs team...

He outplayed Battle of Illinois and Jackson of Purdue. He may be looking at 1st team all big ten if he keeps shutting down opponents.

Aaron Craft was interviewed by Chuck today on all bets are off. GREAT kid. Damn smart kid too. Knows what to say and how to say it.
