America is about opportunity to be who you want to be. I went on a ride yesterday with an immigrant from Brazil.. He is brilliant dedicated hard working. It's taken three years for him to be able to apply for citizenship.. We should make it happen already.. We want these guys on our team.. it's like LeBron applying to be in the NBA, and the NBA saying " Well maybe, let us think about it for three years"

If you don't want to be an American, you should be able to give up your seet to someone who does...

Amazing country. Full of opportunity. My favorite country, but the people need to wake up. Easier said than done. The people _generally_ only react, not anticipate. Kinda like a lab-rat with a 3-series. Priorities all messed up. The (metaphorical) Winter season is coming though, and it tends to trim the fat. Don't let temporary frustration over this country grow like a cancer in you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. The answer in this wonderful country is where it has been for centuries for most people: in the mirror. Discontent for THIS amazing country reflects poorly on your sense of self-achievement, IMO. Or be a buddhist about it:
1. Change what you cannot accept.
OR
2. Accept what you cannot change.

Walking/running/biking along the Schuykill in the summer is one of my favorite things in this country... well, rowing on it-- but the other ones are close.
