Eyenga absolutely need playing time though. At this point is does not matter if AP is better as an NBA player. Eyenga will likely be as productive as AP in 3 months. Eyenga is clearly faster than anyone in the NBA. He outran everyone every time, and he gave a ton of effort. People were saying that he is just another J Moon, but this dude seems more athletic than anyone I have seen in the open court.

It's not a question of whether Eyenga will be as "productive" as AP in 3 months. As we saw tonight, Eyenga on a good night can be as productive as AP, with minutes. More importantly, will he be as GOOD as AP in 3 YEARS?

I'm just pointing out, to all the posters clamoring to "Play the kids!": Blowout losses at home to lousy teams WILL be the result. And they will make even the good players on the team look BAD. Don't blame Mo and Jamison for forcing shots when they are the only 2 players on the court with NBA-level offensive skills.

These game threads are becoming impossible to read. You people whine and cry for the "kids" to be played, and then act shocked when the team looks worse than normal. You look for someone to blame it on. Maybe it's Scott. Maybe it's Jamison or Mo. No, ITS THE KIDS. If you can't handle really bad basketball for a time then you shouldn't have been clamoring for the youth movement. There is a reason Eyenga has been in the D-League. There is a reason Alonzo Gee wasn't in the league. There is a reason Manny Harris was an undrafted player. They aren't very good. Maybe, one day, they will be good (I'm doubting it) but right now, they suck. Period.

I can't wait till we actually do trade the productive players off of this team so we can really "play the kids" and start losing by 25-30 a night and then read these threads. They should be REALLY entertaining then.

Best post I have read in a while. Dont ask for the D-league level kids to play and then expect to hang in with even bad NBA teams. It just wont happen.
