Just a couple of guys out having a little fun. Cops should of let them go with a warning on the racing. Weed will be legal soon hopefully.
No talk about what their rides were; I like cars a lot. Higgins looks like a Jeep SRT or Trackhawk, latter with 707hp I think. Fun I'm sure.

I dunno man the drag racing is..eh, pretty dangerous.

I guess. Maybe I didn't see that in the video. I'm an eastsider so don't know that area well.
I thought they just punched it a little for maybe a 100 ft or so, a little burnout maybe. Although that Trackhawk with awd probably hooks up ok. It can be dangerous though so you guys got a point.

It's reckless and dangerous. Punching it off the line is a hell of a lot more dangerous than speeding on a highway. The immediate torque is what causes the rolling traction of your tires to give out and you lose control.

This was near Crocker Park, which is like that Pinecrest area on the East Side that opened up last year.

These guys are wealthy and privileged enough. They should know that if they want to do this, they can go to a track anytime they want.

Counterpoint: you don’t move to Westlake to have your kids play outside. You stick your kids in the basement and go to way overpriced department stores.
 
I can’t believe anyone would care about the drag racing. Shit when I had my last car I would STILL try to make eye contact w people at a red light and rev my engine, and I am 38. This dude is like 25 w a boss SUV and a buddy in the other car. This is standard behavior people.
now I wouldn’t do that in a neighborhood or near construction but this isn’t a big deal at all.
the joint is also not a big deal. It’s 2021. Probably his sister’s or friends, right?

This reads a whole lot like "I can't believe anyone would have a problem with something that I do. If I do it, obviously it's not bad."

You might want to reconsider revving your engine and trying to make eye contact with people to drag race them at a red light.

How "boss" Higgins's SUV is doesn't give him the authority to act with impunity.

Its dumb and immature at 25 or 38...and he was in a neighborhood.

Ultimately its not suspension worthy, but act like its not dangerous is ridiculous. Bobby Phills died drag racing a teammate. All others on the road including pedestrians are at risk. The tweets after shows both have a lack of maturity.

No he didnt rape a girl, hit a girl or anything like that, but if they want to drag race, take it to a strip where no one else is at risk, they have the money. And i get it, it was a spur of the moment thing, but to do this while they are trying to prepare for a playoff game?

Just stupid. Nothing more...but for sure, nothing less.
