Watched War Dogs on Netflix last night. Pretty interesting film based off a true story about a couple of 20 year old stoners who landed a huge weapons contract from the Pentagon and ended up defrauding them. And anything with Jonah Hill in it is usually a good watch.

Love that movie.

In The Heights: solid watch. Similar style to Hamilton, but the luxury of using film vs live performance.

Little late to the game but I just watched Hereditary for the first time last night. Fucking hell.

Any suggestions for some laughably bad movies? Throughout quarantine shitting on movies a la Mystery Science Theater 3000 style brought me and the lady immense joy but we've been running out of options / striking out as of late.

The only rule is that it has to be a major studio film and released in theaters. No direct-to-dvd bullsniz. No need to suggest Prince of Persia, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Ben-Hur (remake), Look Who's Talking, Look Who's Talking Too, Look Who's Talking Now, Battlefield Earth, The Great Wall, Remember The Titans, Clash of the Titans, Gods of Egypt, Cats, Season of The Witch, The Core, Michael, Ghost Rider, Ghost Rider 2, and Zack Synder's Justice League.

And if anyone is curious, the answer is, and likely always will be Battlefield Earth.

I like the ones that, at the time, everyone really liked--the mega-popular blockbusters that you try and watch now and you say "What the fuck happened in the 90s?"

And, for that, Armageddon takes the cake.

Fuck - forgot to mention Armageddon but we've watched that one. Hopefully you've seen this gem.

After watching the first few Fast and Furious movies they became my wife and I's guilty pleasure "we know these are terrible but we've got to see it through"."

Went to Fast 9 in an almost empty theater the other night. It's exactly everything you'd expect it to be. Mildly entertaining and several LOL moments of "what the fuck did he just do?" :chuckle:

All in all it beat spending an evening bored on the couch, barely.

If you’re up for a musical, Rock of Ages.

Check out the How Did This Get Made podcast. They review terrible movies, so it could be a nice companion piece to your viewing experience and also give you ideas for flicks to watch.

They’ve reviewed a bunch of the ones you listed, btw.
