So what you all are saying is that if I watch Tenet, I need to be focused?

Watched Borat 2. There were several parts I audibly reacted to scenes.

I don't fully get how he does it. I know some of it is scripted, but some of it is supposed to be on unwitting people. The camerawork in these situations...how is that pulled off?

I'm guessing the stuff that is real is just people signing a disclaimer to say they are willing to be put into a movie, but they don't know what the movie is about. The Giuliani scene, for example, at least the part he got in trouble over, was pulled off with hidden cameras, but Rudy absolutely would have had to sign something to allow them to put him in the movie to begin with. He just obviously wasn't aware what the production was.

I am watching it now. Let's how funny it is.

I watched most of it at a friend's place on Friday after dinner and while drinking bourbon and thought it was pretty similar to the first one. A lot of the jokes land, some fall flat, and overall it was enjoyable, if pretty gross at times. Again, much like the first one.

I still need to finish it. It was getting late and I had to Uber home to take the dogs out. I'd say we got about two-thirds of the way through it.

Yeah, it was funny.

I think those two guys he lived with, apart from the nutter stuff, were quite generous to let him stay with them. And for looking for him when they thought he wanted his daughter back.

Pretty sure those two guys were fake and were just there to facilitate the plot.

According to him, they were not.

He lived with them for five days, staying in the character of Borat the entire time. He's done a few interviews about it so far.

That store he meets him in front of I have been in.

It is on I-5 right outside Joint Base Lewis McCord in Lakewood, a suburb of Tacoma, WA. That Pacific Highway exit.

They have a great Mexican restaurant, El Toro, right next to it, and a good Thai place.

@Marcus, you know what I am talking about? that AAA Loan and Guns place by that other gun store with the fake tank? Just up that side road from the 1$ Chinese place?

Yup! I know exactly where you’re talking about. I think there’s actually another pawn shop right down the road from that Mexican restaurant, as well (that might be the one you’re referring to with the fake tank, can’t remember).

What a small world.

I highly recommend "The Duelists."

It is Ridley Scott's first film and a real gem. @The Human Q-Tip @Jordan
