Another game is cancelled.

So how does this work moving forward if this keeps happening? I’m down four players now from it and so are other teams. Some key players.

Yeah it sucks. As long as the season isn't cancelled I'm good.

But being down Juju, Dionte Johnson, and Kelce is tough.

Had to adjust roster to pick up Derek Carr, as Patty Mahomes is PPD. We should all have the right to collect back up our players after this week. And my opponent this week has/had Cam Newton.

Counterpoint, for the first week this happens for a team, is it really different than a bye week? 4 teams aren’t playing this week which is a normal amount during a bye week. If Mahommes was on a bye and you didn’t have a backup QB you’d have to pick one up that week as well

Could I suggest noone gets eliminated this season and just pick up the cuts after next season.

Could we expand the starting lineups? I don't know. It sucks, because if you have Mahomes, he's probably going to play Monday Night it looks like but if you bench him because you don't know, then what do you do?

The league that I run has an IF/THEN declaration for the up in the air game with KC/NE. If Mahomes does not play then Nick Foles counts. So, if the game is moved, Foles counts. If not, then Mahomes does.

Here’s my opinion:

I think people are overreacting to something new that really just presents situations that come up in different ways every season

If Tyreke Hill was a game time decision on Monday night how is your decision that much different than if the game itself is up in the air? There’s a risky play and a less risky play. Most every Chiefs wideout is rostered so besides saying you’d pick up some scrub patriot it’s a very similar circumstance

now the Hardman owner is a different situation, but like..: that’s fantasy. Is it fair that the Barkley owner lost their first pick? Or that a guy gets knocked out in the first quarter? I believe there have been uncertainty games in the past due to hurricanes as well (for whatever reason priest Holmes chiefs coming to mind)

like fantasy has a ton of strategic decisions and luck. This is a new strategic element and those who adapt quickest will probably benefit from it

these are NOT the only games that will be postponed this season, I’m confident of that.

I'm indifferent - as I assume the stats will be counted at some point? As in, would I double dip week 5 if Patrice played Tuesday and Sunday?

Turns out, game moved up to Monday. So I picked up Derek Carr for no reason, and risk losing my stud WR2 on the waiver wire.

Hear ya Moz - but the numbers will have to be accounted for somewhere in fantasy, correct? Unless scoring weeks only go from Thursday to Monday night.

Additionally, it already shows a score of 0 for Patrick and a PPD designation. But now game is on Monday nigt! Do I start him and hope Yahoo amends his points?

So looks like it would not have mattered - but Yahoo still put a score of 0 next to the 3 guys on my roster that got PPD - as in their scoring would not count. So, with only one QB on roster, I had to make a move with 2 hours before gametime.
