Bonds) roid user
Clemens) roid user
Shilling) asshole
Rolen) I think i like him
Helton) definitely like him, but played in colorado
Shefield) Helped Marlins beat Indians
Wagner) Makes okay paint products
Jones) played for too many teams
Vizquel) one of the best defensive SS ever, also potential rapist.

Bonds
Clemens
Jones
Rolen
Sheff
Manny
Helton
Sosa

I've gone soft on the PED era...

Bonds and Clemens only.

Lots of great players otherwise, and Vizquel’s history of domestic violence eliminates him, for me.

Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Sammy Sosa
Gary Sheffield
Manny Ramirez
Curt Schilling
Scott Rolen

Rolen was the only iffy one for me and I'm still second guessing it. But to me, a year when it's iffy if an induction can be held is the perfect time to elect the Steroid Era. Get them all in at once. Of course, this means they also have to get Mark McGwire in too, but I guess that can wait.

so cheating is okay, but domestic violence is an eliminator?

no one deserves to get in, IMO. These are some great players, but in a perfect world they don't get in..

Bonds and Clemens for sure....

It's a minor detail, but I'm not wearing homer glasses when I say Kenny Lofton was a better player than Andrew Jones. He got on base more often than a number of guys already in the HOF, and he was better running the bases once he got on. Defensively? Forget about it.

I also vote Bonds/Clemens. I want Harold Barnes removed with a police escort.

Ironic because in my old age, PEDs are the only way I can stay hard.

Sure seemed to be okay for the commissioner's office when they were sucking up TV ratings and revenue. It was okay when the league inducted a myriad of amphetamine users in the 60s, 70s and 80s before we started calling it something else.

Not going to punish players for drugs the league all but endorsed.

And yes, domestic violence is an eliminator.

I almost forgot - MLB ruled this past calendar year that a lifetime banishment from baseball does not include deceased players.

That seems to green light Shoeless Joe Jackson finally getting into the Hall of Fame.

If and when that happens, I'm going to watch Field of Dreams and peel all the onions.

Kenny's career WAR is higher than Jones's
