RCF Dynasty Football League

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you told me at the beginning of the season that I'd start 3 lions QBs, start 1-4 and still make the playoffs, I'd crack the hell up and ask who your supplier was.

In my other dynasty league, the presumed worst team in the league whose 2020 pick was seen as a golden asset is currently 7-5 and playing the other 7-5 team for the second playoff bye.

Fantasy is weird.

All I know, my team sucks. I’m glad I have Lamar and Kyler as my QBs for a long time in this league.

FYI the trade deadline is going to be Monday at 11:59. After that passes, no teams still in playoff contention may make any trades. Once you're bounced, you are once again eligible to make deals.

Making my first playoff appearance - glad I still have some meaningful fantasy this year since my paid league was a complete disaster.

Some changes for next season are going to include cleaning house on inactive owners and removing divisions.

I've never done a dynasty league before, only redraft. How is a dynasty league? Seems like lot of work to run a team

I wouldn't say it's harder, just different. This is a free league so if you're curious, now would be a good time to jump in. I'm getting close to doing the rcf league, college buddy league, and everything else being dynasty focused.

I personally find dynasty to be a lot more enjoyable than redraft simply because, if you know what you're doing, you're rewarded continually over multiple seasons rather than forced to start from scratch every year. Further, if your team is bad, your season isn't over because you can sell off players for draft picks or younger guys in an attempt to build for the future. Hell, even if your team is good you can do that.

In my money league, my team is 10-3 (would have been 11-2 but I tanked the last game), but I also have the 2nd overall pick in the upcoming 2020 rookie draft, which means I'll get to add a potential playmaker to my already stacked roster. In the spring, I'll do the same thing and sell off my depth for draft picks and young players.

It just adds another layer of strategy to fantasy football that doesn't exist in redraft leagues.

With that being said, I'm nowhere near as active in the RCF league as I am in my money league for obvious reasons. Dynasty can be time consuming if you want to constantly explore deals to better your team. I send out trade offers constantly in my money league. Most never go anywhere, but I'm always on the look out for deals and my roster has become pretty stacked as a result.

As a browns fan, the bolded part does sound fun. I might be interested in joining this for next year.

There are gonna be a couple spots opening up I believe, so keep an eye out on this thread in a couple of months.

I for one will be looking to be moving some players for picks this upcoming offseason.
