I remember having a lot of fun with this two years ago, and I feel like the league has changed a lot since then, might be fine time we did another one.

I don't have the motivation to really steer this ship here, but are people interested in doing this again? @Tornicade this was your baby last time, what do you think?

Might spice up the tank-year a bit, eh?

Yes we should absolutely do it.

Dont think we ever got to actually playing last time. Blue balls.

How do I vote for no Tornicade allowed in that poll?

Wasn't around for the last one. Is it a draft involving every NBA player? Make your own team type thing?

Yes everyone was a team gm and we had 13 rounds of drafting.

it was grueling time consuming and took quite a bit of time to get 30 people drafting at the same time.

then you would have to dealw ith gm's whose entire goal it seemed was to circumvent the rules. and posture themselves for unfair advantages and throw fits if it didn't work.

You get guys who missed draft picks that would suddenly lose interest because they didn't like their team anymore.

We did run a few simulations but keeping track of trades and replacing gm's was tedious and headache inducing.

I am sure the tools and resources that are available could be better now.
despite that I think a lot of people had fun and it distracted us from how horrible our Cavs were at the time.

once we got to the point to manage the league roster management details like who plays what amount of time and setting guys minutes and rotation half the league gm's were unresponsive and there was only so many teams I could manage. the end result league though was certainly competitive in simulations and yielded some interesting results.

the main issue with the league ultimately though was not having an interface that everyone could log into and manage their own team directly

I have NBA2k19 on the xbox I just got . I would be glad to set the groundwork but I wouldn't want to be commissioner.
it looks like they have a full fantasy draft option. contracts. trading capabilities and a smarter ai for grading trade values.
it also lets you select lineups types which would help for the simulation portion and timers can be set etc

I set up a league with generous timers. it appears there are league votes for rule changes and meeting to set timers for.

The League is 2k19 and is called the RCF redraft league. the draft will be serpentine.

my handle is... well its Tornicade of course.

whats nice about this is that it appears the CPU can be toggled off an on so we aren't reliant on owners to stay in the league and other owners can join later without much impact.. I am willing to give this ai a chance on trades as AI's trade managers in the past have been very exploitable.

draft starts in 7 days. people who don't have 2k19 .we might see if we can get some GM's to make user profiles.

The season will be simulated. not sure about the playoffs they can take a vote on that. this isn't about who can play the game the best.
we can use this league as a test run to see how many want to play

the best part is the game has built in features and we can decide whether to use them or not and one or two people don't have to go in and make all the adjustments.

Edit. we can probably set up some sort of sponsor system for guys who want to get involved that don't have 2k19. the sign in looks like just a profile and email address is needed. and it appears league notifications goto that email. this would spread out maintaining the guys who don't have the game.

not sure if there is a mobile app that would let the non players once registered by a sponsor could access the league
