RealGM, WizFans Motivate Dixon As Washington Ties Series

RealGM - Juan Dixon followed a 1 for 10 performance on Saturday with 35 points on Monday to help the Wizards even the series at two games a piece. Gilbert Arenas chipped in 23 points in the 106-99 victory.

Dixon was apparently inspired by the Message Board occupied by both RealGM.com and WizFans.com, where they have a thread that a friend showed him which is titled, "The Amazingly Sucky Juan Dixon Thread." The thread can be read here, while a mp3 of the interview, provided by forum member Broohaha, is available for review here.

"I definitely wanted to throw that back in their face," Dixon said after the game.

Dixon was tipped off to the board by a close friend.

Kirk Hinrich and Jannero Pargo each had 18 points for the Bulls, who are beginning to feel the effects of not having Eddy Curry and Luol Deng on the floor.

Rookie of the Year candidate Ben Gordon had just 8 points.
The RealGM Thread

Hmm... So some players do read message boards.

Have you all noticed, that it was actually the fans that started complaining about Jeff McInnis' bad defense on message boards, primarily our very own RCF message board? Then all of a sudden, every Cleveland sports analysts picked it up and went along with it. Makes you think a litte bit on how internet fan reactions effect sports in real life.

Yeap. They read it :note: , look at the real thing, make the connection, then it becomes fact. Our discussions here are important!
:ninja:

Yeah, Roger Brown frequents this board and others all the time, how do you think he finds his sources.

Hey LeBron you punkass. You cant play defense. You cant hit fuc%ing free throws. Dude you cant make the playoffs!

OK, LeBron will be fine now.
