Reggie Bush Highlight Tape

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That was freaking sick, Bush has the nastiest cutback move it's "Barry Sanders Esque". And speed...the guy has another gear that most people even pro players don't have, he is going to be LT in the NFL maybe better...damn If we drafted this kid somehow I wouldn't be bummed at all!

We dont have a chance at getting this kid. We could give up every draft pick and every good player on our team and the Texans wouldnt trade that pick.

Well all I know is 5 teams with 5 wins or less won last weekend. I'd be super happy with AJ Hawk, they are saying he is the best defensive player in the draft possibly. Him or Mario Williams who experts are saying " Is the best DE to come out since Julius Peppers "

If I was Houston, I would trade Reggie Bush's rights in a heartbeat...

Kinda reminds me of the Chargers 01 situation where they gave up Vick for the draft rights of Brees and Tomlinson... I remember watching that draft back home and being pissed off to no end about it.... But it was the right move, clearly the right move.... Vick is actually overrated..

If any of you for one second think Reggie Bush is going to do in the NFL with the Houston Texans what he did in that highlight package ? You're sadly mistaken...

That boy is going to get smashed if he goes to Houston with that line, just look at Carr's sack numbers... Bush will not be near the Stud there then he was in college.... Not saying he won't do well in the NFL, cause I think he will... But, Houston is not the fit...They got lucky with Domanick Davis, I don't think there is any back other then LT who could do more in their system besides Davis... That dude runs for his life out there...

Houston needs to trade that pick for several picks and a player... Start that O-LINE with D'Brick and go from there...They have more pressing needs then Reggie Bush...

I would trade it... If they were smart they would too.. But they won't, it would be too much of a negative PR HIT....

pip, you say that lt is the only rb who could do better, so what do you think the texans will get with bush. hes the same type of runner.

I agree with LePip. If the Browns were in the same situation...it would be tough to pass on Bush, but both teams are so bad that I would take every draft pick I could to improve the team.

Id be willing to bet there is a team that will do what the Saints did for Ricky Williams to get Bush. And if the Texans are smart, they will take it.

Yeah, but LT is experienced at the NFL level.. He understands the defenses, he knows where his lanes are, and his cutbacks are excellent.. Bush will be great, but it's going to take him time. Especially if he is going to be a Texan... The guy plays in the Pac10 for god sakes...Bush is a special player, no doubt, but I bet if he played in the Big 10 and faced a solid defense week in and week out, you wouldn't see so many amazing plays per game as you would in the open pac 10..

Also, I was talking about the way the teams were currently constructed as of today... I don't think you can take Reggie Bush and insert him into the Chargers backfield and get the same production out of him as you would LT present day...

Maybe eventually, but not today...

I would not want to be the Texans GM right now... This is a very delicate situation...

A. Do you take the all world Rusher that has all this hype and star potential and make the fans happy...

B. Do you trade those rights, get several picks, and improve your team at multiple postions which in the long run will help you become a winner sooner rather then later ?

Although it's not the sexier choice, I go with B.

Keep in mind, really good RB'S are easy to find... Now, HOF backs are difficult to find... But, if you build that O-line and use some of those picks to improve your defense, you can get away with having a really good RB like a Domanic Davis and you don't need a HOF Back...

The Lions were always Junk even though they had that all world RB in Barry Sanders...

Other then the Cowboys and Rams, nobody within the last 15 years had a HOF running back and won it all.. Some had really good backs... But not Hofers

Giants-(can't remember) which means he wasn't anything..

Redskins- Ernest Byner

Cowboys-Emmitt Smith HOF

49ers - Ricky Watters

Packers- Dosey Levens

Broncos- Terell Davis (Fringe, but was dominant)

Rams- Marshall Faulk HOF

Ravens- Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes (really good, but not HOFers)

Bucaneers- Michael Pittman

Patriots - Antowain Smith, Corey Dillon...
