Renaming the Cleveland baseball team (NOT FOR DEFENDING "INDIANS")

Don't mind the name. Still hate the winged baseball logo. I got a hat yesterday from my younger son (my wife really) as I always wear a hate outside to cover my graying hair. As people say, it may be a younger person look. Yet, the red is just too bright (as a whole cap color) would have preferred the darker red and the logo is just too goofy for me. They may want to try to attract the younger fans with this look, but how many will now go and sit (or watch) through a 3 hr game every night (or even once a month) because of the "cool" look? I am not turning them off but will need to return the hat for the new "C" I guess .... (it didn't even fit my "big" head).

I'll go with Commodores since I was the first to suggest it. Guardians and Spiders are my least favorite.

I got a Winged G hat as well for a Christmas gift... At least I also got the gift receipt so it can be returned later this week.
I will keep wearing my carhart Block C or 1 of the various CLE minor league team hats in the meantime (till I find a Guardians hat I like). It might be a while....

Commodores was a layup. It satisfied both sides being patriotic/military based with red, white and blue colors. Still pretty impressive how I came up with it and it was in the running.

The name still sucks in my opinion, but it couldnt remain Indians in todays culture which i understand. But it was the most popular and i see the advantage of it being close to Indians in look on a jersey and all so I am not too mad at it.

Name has the potential of some cool logos. I just think they missed with the initial attempts. How long does baseball make you live with your logo design choices? Hopefully within 2-3 years they can find some better ones.

Ended up getting the winged baseball logo hat bc the C hat I found, the C just looked a little small. Got to say I really like it, it's growing on me. Would rather have an actual guardian head but I also get it.

I received a tech shirt with the State of Ohio in background and the Wnged G over the top -- I like it.

I agree the new "C" seems too small -- I am waiting on a hat!
