So is Jordan Love available now that Rodgers is gtd 150 million of the 200 million dollar contract over the next 4 years?

And would anyone want him?

I mean...a third rounder is probably a reasonable asking price considering he is still young and we don't really know what he is yet. But I don't want us to be the team taking the risk and hoping he is better than his handful of NFL appearances suggest. I would lean towards him not panning out at this level.

No clue if Randy has actually heard any rumblings or if he’s just trolling.

I would obviously trade Baker and picks for Kyler on talent alone, but if Arizona is actually willing to deal a 24-year-old who already has two pro bowls under his belt just three years into the league, I’d be VERY weary that all the rumors are true and Kyler is just a complete fucking asshole.

But…. Baker has like a 10 game sample size of decent play, (((AND))) a playoff win on the road and he’s also a complete fucking asshole…..

Swapping accolades and assholes at this point… @The Oi

Well sure. But it's a little more layered than this.

Baker is very likely gone after this season. So him being an asshole is not really all that damaging to the long-term future of the organization.

Given that it would cost multiple high draft picks *and* a massive (top 5 AAV at his position) to acquire Kyler, any team trading for him would be committing to him for at least 4-5 years.

If he's actually self-centered and immature and ultimately not the kind of guy who is going to maximize his or his team's ceiling - and I'm not saying he is, but there's enough smoke out there to make people think he might be - that's a whole lot more risky when you're about to commit $200+ million to the guy than if he's a guy going into the last year of his contract and you're actively looking to replace him.

I Like Baker, I really do.
That said, who's next?

So he goes from 2 good WR's and a bad O-Line in SEA to 3 good WR's and a bad O-Line in DEN?

Iono.....

Maybe it's just me but I feel like CLE can upgrade their WR room better than DEN or SEA can upgrade their O-Line. We have the better running game too.
Wishful thinking.

Wilson was available… we should’ve blown our wad to get him. Elite QB play runs this league and we don’t have that

Wilson wanted to go to Denver, he has a no trade clause, I dont think Wilson was a reality.

right anyone thinking that the Wilson was a realistic target for the Browns is kidding themselves. The fact that the seahawks got pretty well fleeced in this deal makes it seem like there werent many spots Wilson was willing to go.

I'm just disappointed that Dylan Windler wasn't listed as an option.

I voted Russ in this thread but eh... something with the way he has been consistently crashing year after year as the season wears on is getting to me. Easily take the Russ upgrade over Baker if we can but if the choice is between Russ and serial sex offender Watson.... :runaway:

I mean I hate to say it and I 100% understand people who couldn't root for the team, but if we got Watson I could separate my love for the team and my disgust for an individual. And hope that he actually turns into a better person.
Ignore the many times I was wrong in this thread... but I with this one I remember souring on Russ and thinking Watson would be the better choice, warts and all. :chuckle:

Of the options you listed, my overwhelming preference would be Russell Wilson.

I think Derek Carr should be an option as well.

So I gotta say...

I didn't have Russell Wilson's athleticism and skill falling literally off the face of the earth on my QB bingo card.
