Hall of Famer Wes Unseld passed away at 74 years old. I always respected him as a player when I was a kid. He was only about 6'7" but was a mountain playing center for the Washington Bullets. Great outlet passer too.
I always felt that what made the Miracle of Richfield so special was that it was the Cavs, a collection of good ballplayers, playing as a team, with great HOF'ers Unseld, Elvin Hayes, Dave Bing, and Phil Chenier.

In the conversation for the top ten passing bigs of all time. True legend to whom Love was often compared in the draft.

Was BFFs with Stan Love, as well.

As people may remember, his throwback jersey also became the center of the universe during LeBron's senior year at St. V.

ROY and MVP in the same year. Wilt was the only other player to do that.

The Bullets went to the Finals four times in the 70s -- something no other team accomplished. It was quite an accomplishment to beat that team in 1976 without any stars.
