Coming off winning 5-of-6 and 14-of-21 the Indians start their longest home stand of the year by hosting the Colorado Rockies. Some decent pitching match-ups as well for the Tribe...

Tuesday- 7:05 PM- Jake Westbrook vs. Jeff Francis
Wednesday- 7:05 PM- C.C. Sabathia vs. Joe Kennedy
Thursday- 7:05 PM- Jason Davis/Kevin Millwood vs. Jamey Wright

Getting two of three here shouldn't be too difficult, add in Arizona following them in and getting at least four wins in the two series should almost be expected.

we should sweep them. bats are coming alive and jason davis is even pitching decent.

Well, I thought we would sweep them last year too, but I think they took 2 out of 3 against us.

Larry Walker killed us in that series. At least he isn't there any more.

I'll be happy with 2 out of 3, but a sweep would certainly be nice!

I hope that the recent good play coupled with warm weather will bring out the fans. Good attendance is crucial to next year's payroll. Let's see 100,000 for the Rockies series!

Great first game. Nice to see the team actually give Westbrook a little support. 11-2 final with Pronk's 474 foot HR in the 8th. 6th longest all-time at Jacobs Field.

17,000 people there... thats sad. The postgame show was talking about how we are, right now, being out-drawn by Kansas City, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Oakland, etc. and the only team that we are out-drawing is the Devil Rays. That's pathetic, IMO.

if there is a sweep i truly belive that this team will start getting more attention. we get within a couple games of the twins and the wildcard then i think that people will start coming out of the woodwork for this young team..

Went to the game last night, what a game! Down 6-2 before the Indians tack on single runs in five seperate innings. Travis Hafner had two doubles. Casey Blake hit a two-run HR early on. Jhonny Peralta hit a HR in the 9th inning to send it to extra innings and Aaron Boone hit the walk-off in the 11th. What a GREAT game.

another win!!! another sweep!!!

wahoo, catching up to the twins and we still got a whole lot more home games left on this homestand.

damn need more people at the games to.

I was at the middle game and they listed almost 21,000 there... I was at three games early in the year that had more people there with announced attendance at the 14-16 thousand mark. Tribe fans, in the large part, are HUGE front-runners.

I will say though, it felt odd getting a walk-up ticket. I'm so used to having to order in advance, it just felt weird, even though I got GREAT seats.
