Round 1 Game 3 | Cavs @ Pacers | April 20, 2018 | 7:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Revisiting the Keys to the Game:
1. Can the Cavs keep the Pacers from scoring at will in the paint? They were better.
2. Will The King be super-human again? No.
3. Will someone - anyone - rise to the occasion and help The King? Not really.
4. Will TY cLUEless actually figure out rotations that work? Will he dare to play a real center? Will he dare to put a guy will real energy and athleticism on Home Ola-Depot? No. No. No.
5. Will the Cavs win the battle of the benches? Will one of Calderon, Clarkson, Hood, Green, Nance make a major contribution? No.
6. Will Ty dust off TT for this one? No.
7. Will the Cavs protect the ball? 16 turnovers. 10 between Bron and Love.
8. Will the Cavs dare to attack the rim, if the threes are not falling? Of course not.

9. Will the Cavs be able to win a game of 5 on 8? No. Of course not.

Stick a fork in this team. It’s 2010, redux.

I think Love is just a fragile body at this point. He’s not tough jeez. Soft as tissue. Guys go right at him. Can’t contest shots regularly at the rim. Don’t get me started on hood and korver. I’d rather korver just jack up shots to try and get in. Rhythm on the floor. Do we even run an actual offense..

Guys I’m deadass do we run a offense at all.

Ok but it ain’t just LeBron

It’s Leborn and role players

The role players are TRASH

He had some really trashy role players even in the Mike Brown era. You don't remember Drew Gooden, Fat Ass Marshall, Larry Hughes, Pavlovic days? Those guys were trash. And he never lost in the first round. Hell, he took these guys to the fucking finals!

And we still have Kevin Love. All-star, no?

Losing in this series would be embarrassing. Something that's never happen to LB. Because he's that good. And Indy isn't good enough as a team.

After that, all bets are off, because the teams get good and we're not.

You guys getting way too pessimistic. I get being down. And there's not a lot to be excited about.

But if you really think this series is over, then you've don't really understand how good LeBron is.

We're not good, but LB can still take not good, and beat teams like this in his sleep. He's done it all his fucking career.

Cedi/Zizic/Nance maybe (besides the obvious LeBron).

But lord knows if Lue is around next year he'll play career G leaguers before giving Cedi or Zizic minutes.
They could definitely lead us to a top 3 seed

Love had 16 points in the first half. Took his first shot in the 2nd half with 2:50 left in the game. Who decided the offense we ran the second half? Because whomever it was is fully responsible for this loss. Can't get 2 shots for your 2nd best player in a half after he's had a solid first half shooting. Awful.

I agree with you that we don't run nearly enough actions for him...that's obvious. But you can't tell me that you are okay with his defense, effort and body language. Whatever the issue may be, it's not good enough, and it's annoying watching him "pout", if that's the right word for it.

Love is being 100% underutilized...Lue and Lebron(inthis game atleast) are at fault for the shaky offense in the playoffs so far, but my expectation of Love are just much higher than this.

I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, @NorthCoastBias !

Much love to you, man. I know you’re an international fan and it’s a lot easier to abandon ship when you didn’t grow up here in Cleveland. Sticking with these guys will take some stones, but loyalty to a team is immeasurable.

No he's actually part of a REAL FRANCHISE. I don't even blame Kyrie. This franchise itself is a fucking clown show. They are lucky as FUCK that LeBron saved them.

Irving's new team has the assets to actually get someone like Anthony Davis to add to their already ridiculous young core.

Irving saw what a complete fucking jackoff Ty Lue is as a coach and said no thank you.

Irving is going to come out looking like the smart one, he saw this fucking coming.

He got away from the complete and utter fuck show known as the Dan/LeBron/Ty Lue trio of horror.

There was zero promise for a better future here. It was going to be old team/cap strapped/ uncertainty around James.....

Why waste a year on a dead season? He's already planted his roots in Boston for one season, and has tasted the promise of playing on a young team with future assets, competent leadership and a culture/history of stability and winning.

Kyrie made one of the boldest moves, but it's going to work in his favor, and James is going to head somewhere else.
If LeBron heads to Philly, which is likely, he'll be in Kyrie's division. So, just how lucky is that? Sixers could very well be their roadblock for the next 3-4 years.
