Round 1 Game 4 | Cavs @ Celtics | April 26, 2015 | 1:00 PM ET on ABC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Eat a big fat one Boston.
How do you mean?

He means the Cavs got fired up, shed the soft label, and are pissed off. Game 1 is at the earliest Friday, let's hope Love can play. He's gonna be in pain Mon/Tue that is for sure. And JR will be out for game 1. I hope MM is ready to get some minutes. And if not, it's time for Captain America...

Windhorst has said Friday and before the Bulls lost their last game that they would likely play next Sunday, maybe Saturday.

Also the Thomas no-call foul on LeBron while he was out of bounds was some of the worst officiating in history.

That was 100% bush league. Those guys should never officiate in the playoffs again.

I don't think that foul by JR deserves a suspension. He couldn't even see Crowder, and the contact to the face looked like it happened because JR was trying to get Crowder off his back. He injured his knee which is indirectly related at best to the shot to the face.

I seriously thought we would get to see Brendan "Secret Weapon" Haywood actually become the playoff secret weapon the way that Mozgov and TT were accumulating fouls and the rate at which Perk was accumulating flagrants/techs.

It was ugly, we're not coming away from the series 100% by any means, but a sweep is a sweep. If Milwaukee can do us a favor and win a 2nd game, we might have a chance for Love to come back in. I've seen people keep doing what they're doing after having their shoulder popped in, and we saw Shump remain out for weeks with his, we just won't know.

That Celtics team, they're young, but its going to be a tough path to improvement. They're going to have a ton of cap room, but will have to compete with a lot of teams. They need a number 1 option, and I dont see them getting that with their pick, the Clippers pick, and FA. I thought it was interesting that Lebron refused to say anything good about the players even though the reporters post-game gave him plenty of leading questions. He did give a shout out to Brad Stevens, who you cant deny has got a future ahead of him in this league.

We're doing good. We just won while shooting 21% from the 3 and without Love and jr, after a 20pt lead for a signifact period of time.
I was very impressed by Shump's game, arguably his best for us since he landed.

On another note, i dont think Crowder is even hurt that bitchass ******. I honestly believe he faked that injury to fuck us. He didnt care about the game.

And that Oylnyk's WWE graple, wtf was that?

Sorry if this has already been answered but do we know when the next series will start assuming Chicago wins the next game?

Saturday or Sunday right?

I thought the Celtics played puss-ball. Half the time, they weren't even playing basketball - they were trying to rough the Cavs up, and the refs/league were letting them get away with it. Totally overrated team.

These refs are responsible for all of this. Letting Olnyk get away with his bush league play, and then the Celtics pushing/shoving/forearming like crazy the entire game, and letting them get away with it. Just ridiculous that any of this happened.
^This a thousand times over.

You can only take cheap shots and bush league play for so long.

Smith took the bait and will be suspended for a game.

But Crowder got what was coming to him.

Somebody put Crowder in a vine with that ed sheeran (?) song that starts out "when your legs don't work like they used to"

I posted a few days ago that I wasn't going to take a game for granted in this Playoffs run; that I'd savor every victory on account of the 4 years of nonsense basketball we've had to sit through.

But this was a really tough way to end a sweep and instead of being unperturbed by the challenges that lie ahead, I'm suddenly very apprehensive about what's to come. I suppose we just wait it out, hope that the guys can get a lot of rest and that the league is lenient towards JR.

Saturday or Sunday right?

Saturday at the earliest, likely Sunday. ABC likes those Sunday ratings and game one here was maybe the highest or one of the highest ratings for an opener. One would think the networks and the NBA would bend over backwards to protect the Cavs, not turn their backs.

Notice how the national media ignores Kelly's flagrant foul that went uncalled and now TNT is saying JR should be suspended from 5 to 10 games! None of the events leading up to the Cavs response from cheap fouls by Boston in earlier games, many of which went uncalled, or how Kelly was allowed to play without any technical, or how the refs sucked or were biased is discussed by the national media.

I should be happier for this sweep. Cleveland won this game because they took care of the ball and didn't let the Celtics get anything easy. Only 8 team turnovers in a playoff game is beautiful.

I love what Perk did. That Crowder guy is a fake tough guy and when a real tough guys shows some spunk, the cat starts screaming at the bench. Plus, I don't think what JR did was malicious. It shouldn't warrant a suspension but with how soft this league has become, he probably will be.

That officiating was horrendous. Human error happens but it seems they let Boston do whatever they want out there. Damn shame they couldn't be professionals and call it fairly and tightly to get it under wraps. That last minute or so of the game should have never happened.

I am going to post my feelings on Love in the Love thread but I will say that it did look intentional and the opponent looked to have deliberately held his arm like that. I hope this diagnosis of 2-3 weeks is premature, it's back into place and hopefully a week heals it.

Would be a damn shame if the Boston Celtics affect a Cleveland-Chicago series. We need Love out there against the Bulls.

Kelly Olynyk, every game the Cavs play him for the rest of his career. I want to see him get hard fouls.

I cannot believe this crap happened at the start of the game..and then all that other stuff happens.

The calls have been crap. But I want to say something that totally annoyed me about the telecast yesterday.
Collins and whoever else were going on and on about how this playoff experience would help the Celtics next season.
Nothing about what it does for the Cavs but all about the Celtics young team.
